George' has a little bit of everything that the community needs, kinda like an old general store.Some things aren't always the freshest, but considering the nearest alternative is 20 km away, you learn to make due with what's available.Staff are always friendly and helpful, and they go out of their way to help if at all possible.Takeout food available from the restaurant side (no eat in available) and they are also a licensed seller for NSLC so a selection of alcohol...
Good place to stretch your legs and grab a quick bite on the way between Marine Drive and the city if you're going through Middle and Upper.Definitely recommend their Thai chili chicken bites - super tasty in the deli cooler.
Hamburgers, poutine and Donairs are my favourite . The food is always fresh and served with a smile! We love their pizza too ! Best take out in the Musquodoboit Valley ! Owners are very friendly and helpful. Store is very clean and organized . Their mini supermarket has a wide variety and fresh produce and meats . Highly recommend!
