Always a treat to go to Lefty's! Our go-to is the Penne di Casa, but they also have amazing nachos, veggie burgers, sweet potato fries, and I'm sure the rest of their menu is just as good! The service is always lovely, and it's always a welcoming, clean place to stop and eat.

Facility located in a strip mall. Very nice with quite a few booths and a bar area. Staff very nice. Food was good. Menu photos as of July 2025.

Overall it's still a good place to go, but it is not what it once was. It seems more corporate now and less personal. The menu is kind of odd, when they serve what and the food is not disappointing . So 4 stars (for what it is) as it is not pretending to be something its not.

I have been going to lefty’s in Tantallon off and on for the last 20+ years, and today we experienced the best service and food there yet . Our server Madeline was wonderful and the special fish burger was delicious! And omg! Who knew that liver and onion could be so good!

That's my experience,,,, yours might be different, I always say, you should try it to know it! The location in a commercial area is excellent, and there is plenty of free parking. I liked the layout and decorations. It looks cozy and somehow romantic 😌☺️! Cleanliness is plausible. The time to be seated was excellent; we found a table immediately. Staff are friendly and welcoming! Time to take the order is within expectations. Time to get the food was acceptable 😋. The food was ok; the Haddock plate was ok, and the vegetables were a little lacking 😏. The fajita plate was ok, but the price went up after adding ingredients. The taste was very good 👍😋👌, but the quantity in the first plate wasn't generous. But that's ok! Prices are $$. Whatever is in your hollandaise sauce is disgusting. Bacon and ham was way over cooked.

Stepfather in-law and my wife and I go for the chowder on Friday. Usually herbie goes by himself, he's ninety four. They treat him very nicely.They treat us very nicely too. I enjoy the the chowder. It was better than I thought it would be. I suggest going there.
