Mezza Lebanese Kitchen

I like Mezza and I frequent the one in my neighborhood. I have no complaints. Their menu and flavor are a mediocre experience but it does the job.

Last evening (Oct. 23) I ordered a chicken shawarma plate and was not impressed. The chicken was a small weighed cup of bits and pieces, overcooked and dry. With tax, the bill was $20.34 - not worth it and won't return.

So unfortunate but with mass expansion came underwhelming quality. Even with inflation costs portion sizes are beyond inadequate. Major revamp of quality and portion is needed.

Not enough to break 3 legs of a duck, the chicken mixture was really of poor quality you can smell the chicken skin a lot of tendons in short I expected to have a minimum of meat.. I spat out several pieces anyway , for the "brown" meat I didn't really know what it was, it's so chopped that you can't distinguish what you're tasting beyond that, it was very dry! You have to regulate the temperature on your spits otherwise it will cook the meat too violently and the fat will burn.. The tabbouleh is too marbled for my taste... You have to review the recipe.. You have to add MORE bulgur! it's too green for tabbouleh unfortunately.. The fries are way too salty.. It's not good because it makes you thirsty with every bite. The bread... I expected better for Lebanese... Well yes.. Industrial... The bread was too dry once folded even with my carnivorous molars I couldn't even chew it.. The vegetables were still okay, it's nice to have real peppers. Very floury falafels but good flavor. Well, otherwise the nice atmosphere, the concept claims to be very family-friendly but strays too far and falls into incoherence. It's too close to the fast food you eat in your car between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. You should avoid putting family photos in this case because it gives a bad impression regarding the quality of the food.

We both had the Chicken Shawarma's and they were delicious! Packed with chicken, pickles, pickled turnip along with the rest of the ingredients. Hard to find a good Chicken Shawarma so this is the place.

Food was fresh and tasty. Staff was friendly and courteous. Got shawarma deep bowl and donairs. We just found the amount of meat was a little skimpy in both the donair wraps as well as the bowl that’s why taking off one star. Otherwise it was a good experience.

Cook was very unpleasant. Made the food wrong, when I said something he ensured me this is how it’s always been made. Once I asked to make it how I wanted, he got ignorant with me. Won’t return recommend others don’t waste there money or time here

This place can be hit or miss with the staff. Some of them seem to care, some of them make it seem like a huge inconvenience to have to serve you. Food is usually great so of you don't mind poor staff attitude, it's very good food.

Great food always fresh. Customer service could be more attentive with orders. Ordered 7 dishes, and most were incorrect due to the employee not writing down the differences.

Today I took my friend to mezzas in upper Tantallon for her birthday lunch ( before noon) . Both of us had fries with our combo plate, and they were very, very spicy and over cooked!
. I had the falafel plate the falafel was so over cooked . It was crumbled. There was no moisture to it, unable to pick it up to eat, or put it on my pita bread I am very hesitant to go to this restaurant to eat again
I absolutely love falafal and have eaten at this restaurant before and had no issues . Today was a HUGE disapointment as we were both looking forward to enjoying a great lunch
The floors had pools of water under the tables which I noticed when I sat down …thank god I didn’t fall - there were no signs stating the floors were wet
Having had surgery and arm equipped with a sling .. it would not have been good!
