Yeah 100% don't. Just burn your money instead.
- 1 star for the egg rolls that were ok.
- Singapore noodles were gritty.
- Beef and broccoli was a hope and a wish at real beef and broccoli. The beef was dry chunks of roast beef. No sauce.
- BBQ Pork with bean sprouts... basically just bean sprouts
- Ginger beef ... um... what is that... seems like they need a bit of help on what ginger beef is... this is just beef chicken balls.
super super super disappointed - will absolutely never come back. .

The price you pay when you pick your order up is more than the web price says, somewhere of that. The food is average at best. The beef with broccoli was lhorroble. Won't go back

Called ahead for a group of 8. They had a table ready for us. We all had different dishes and orders. It was great. The serving sizes were large! Everything was hot and cooked well. Veggies were not over cooked. The only complaint was that we liked how they used to make shredded ginger beef more than the new way. But the new was is pretty good too!

Horrible Experience – Stay Away!
This is the first time in my life I've ever felt compelled to write a negative review about food. We ordered beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, chicken chow mein, and four egg rolls from Moon Tang, spending over $60. When we got home, we were in for a shock.
The beef and broccoli were bland with hardly any sauce. The broccoli was mushy, and the beef was absolutely inedible. Words can't fully capture how repulsive it was. The chicken chow mein was no better—overcooked, mushy, and utterly flavorless.
The worst, however, was the General Tso's chicken. Instead of the expected breaded and fried chicken with a flavorful, spicy sauce, we got a mess of vegetables with steamed chicken in a watery sauce. It was unrecognizable. The chicken fried rice was equally disappointing: just plain rice with soy sauce and a tiny sprinkling of diced chicken.
I've never been so grossed out by a meal that I wanted to return the entire order. We called Moon Tang minutes after getting home to express our disappointment. We hadn’t eaten more than a bite of each dish. Their response was shocking. We requested a refund and were told to "just pass it on" and they’d give us a credit instead. When we insisted on getting our money back, we were berated and told there was nothing they could do.
We try to support local businesses, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. Don’t waste your money here. The drive to Timberlea to get East Foodies is worth it. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Moon Tang at all costs.

The service and the beef and broccoli were great, but that was overshadowed by the obvious dirty walls and bathroom (what else is dirty?). The fried rice was really burnt tasting. I haven't been here in a couple of years due to a previous experience, but everyone deserves a second chance, I thought. I was wrong.

If you want bottom of the barrel Chinese food look no further then moon tong… the food honestly was lacking flavor of any kind and the Singapore noodles are as close to Singapore as Halifax is… just disappointing! This place is so far away from good Chinese food it’s crazy.
Food is very very good. I would give you 5 stars but I’m rating you at 1 star because of the terrible customer service I received this evening from the lady you have working in your restaurant answering the phones. Got 2 cans of pop, came to around $5, handed her $10 and told her to keep the rest for herself, her response was “k”. She dropped my food I had order in front of me without saying a word. I was about to leave until I turned back around and asked for my change back as I felt it wasn’t deserved and I explained to her that normally when someone tips you would thank the person. Her excuse for not, and being horribly rude, was that she was “more worried about the person waiting on the phone”. Shameful because I did enjoy the food but I will not be back. Terrible customer service.
Visited the restaurant on boxing day while traveling through the area. The service was quick, the food came to use in good time. The food was HOT and super yummy!! We all had a combo plate and the plates were full of food! Had a great experience and hope everyone enjoys this place as much as we did!! We got three combo plates for roughly $52 (taxes in)
