Worst Chinese food I’ve ever eaten. Tables and floors and washroom are soooo dirty.

The interior entrance & dining area is filthy. I didn't feel comfortable enough to sit for fear of an insect infestation. I left without ordering & filed a complaint with Nova Scotia Food Safety.

We ordered the dinner for 4A. The ribs tasted old and tough to chew, we could not eat them , the vegetable dishes were also terrible and tasted like they were reheated. I called for a partial refund to a no it s not the owners policy, but we can give you a credit. I said I won’t be eating there again so a credit is no good to me. They were unwilling to contact the owner or give me any sort of refund. When you spend that much money you expect to have an enjoyable meal. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND EAT ELSEWHERE.

Did not expect this dish to look like this. If you google Chinese shredded beef, every pic looks very different than what I got. The flavour was ok, but I hate water chestnuts and there were more of them than beef. Also super frustrating to be charged more than the listed price on their website. The store needs a weeks worth of cleaning from the looks of it.

Was a pick up meal so can't comment on atmosphere. But the food was delicious. Second time recently having it. Both times was delicious.

Yeah 100% don't. Just burn your money instead.

- 1 star for the egg rolls that were ok.
- Singapore noodles were gritty.
- Beef and broccoli was a hope and a wish at real beef and broccoli. The beef was dry chunks of roast beef. No sauce.
- BBQ Pork with bean sprouts... basically just bean sprouts
- Ginger beef ... um... what is that... seems like they need a bit of help on what ginger beef is... this is just beef chicken balls.

super super super disappointed - will absolutely never come back. .

The price you pay when you pick your order up is more than the web price says, somewhere of that. The food is average at best. The beef with broccoli was lhorroble. Won't go back

Called ahead for a group of 8. They had a table ready for us. We all had different dishes and orders. It was great. The serving sizes were large! Everything was hot and cooked well. Veggies were not over cooked. The only complaint was that we liked how they used to make shredded ginger beef more than the new way. But the new was is pretty good too!

Horrible Experience – Stay Away!

This is the first time in my life I've ever felt compelled to write a negative review about food. We ordered beef and broccoli, General Tso's chicken, chicken chow mein, and four egg rolls from Moon Tang, spending over $60. When we got home, we were in for a shock.

The beef and broccoli were bland with hardly any sauce. The broccoli was mushy, and the beef was absolutely inedible. Words can't fully capture how repulsive it was. The chicken chow mein was no better—overcooked, mushy, and utterly flavorless.

The worst, however, was the General Tso's chicken. Instead of the expected breaded and fried chicken with a flavorful, spicy sauce, we got a mess of vegetables with steamed chicken in a watery sauce. It was unrecognizable. The chicken fried rice was equally disappointing: just plain rice with soy sauce and a tiny sprinkling of diced chicken.

I've never been so grossed out by a meal that I wanted to return the entire order. We called Moon Tang minutes after getting home to express our disappointment. We hadn’t eaten more than a bite of each dish. Their response was shocking. We requested a refund and were told to "just pass it on" and they’d give us a credit instead. When we insisted on getting our money back, we were berated and told there was nothing they could do.

We try to support local businesses, but this experience was incredibly disappointing. Don’t waste your money here. The drive to Timberlea to get East Foodies is worth it. Save yourself the trouble and avoid Moon Tang at all costs.
