I'd like to see the many wonderful things implemented during the sensory friendly hour extended to being a normal part of your operations.
I'd shop at Sobeys more.

This was a great stop to get loaded up with all of our food needs.
Friendly staff and lots of cashiers to check you out. Also have some self-checkouts if one prefers that. Produce is always fresh whereas the same cannot be said for the nearby Superstore.

Prices have increased to the point of many people taking home minimal amounts of groceries. Same timeline: this store, and many other sobeys alike, throw out perfectly good food from the deli and bakery. Literally, put into a trash can while I watched. It was heartbreaking knowing this food could have helped feed people who can no longer afford to feed themselves. Throwing your goods in a trash can rather than feeding fellow human beings is simply this... shameful.

I’m not the primary shopper in our household but Sobeys is very conveniently located and I find the staff in both the store and the pharmacy to be generally cheerful and helpful. I believe in supporting local businesses.
The woman who was working in the Flower department on the morning of July 10th was an absolute pleasure to speak to. What a lovely human. She made my day. You guys are lucky to have someone who cares so much as an employee.. what a breath of fresh air. ?
