We love to take a break here when we're in the area. Nice back balcony by the train and beautiful bike trails. Nice coffee and friendly staff too.

Coffee here is always great. They always have great coffees for both drip and espresso beverages.

I come here often to study. Staff are friendly and the food is good. The raspberry white chocolate scones are a favourite.

Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian baked goods and some vegetarian sandwich options as well

Parking: Lots of space in the parking lot. It looks small but there’s ample room to move around

Wheelchair accessibility: There are stairs and steps to get in; however, they have a takeout window which may be an option for wheelchair users

Recently came here for a coffee and scone. Perfectly located right off main road and hiking/biking trail. Food and coffee was fresh. Highly recommended!

I was recently biking on my way to Peggy’s Cove when the crank arm on my bike got stripped and fell off. Luckily I was within a few kilometres of the Bike & Bean. I arrived at the bike shop where I was greeted and helped right away. The mechanic at the shop was very knowledgeable of bikes and knew exactly how to resolve my issue. He replaced the broken piece and got me on my way quickly. My experience at the Bike & Bean was great and the mechanic that helped me was kind and happy to answer any questions I had. I’m very grateful for his help since this repair allowed me to complete my trip to Peggy’s Cove.

One of the best little places you'll find alongside a NS trail system. Highly reccomend to give it a try for delicious coffee, homemade foods or even a cold beer after a run on the trail.
