small establishment seems to cater to locals in Wallace, NS and seems to be popular for takeout food. we sat in the dine in section in the back and although there is a patio around the outside in the back, if you want to sit there, there is no table service and you have to get take out and eat it at one of the tables there. we stayed inside and ordered. the menu advertises much seafood, but most of it fried. their lobster rolls was advertised as famous and my wife ordered it. we also tried the seafood chowder. overall the food was made quickly and service was good. the lobster rolls were pretty good, in a hamburger bun but fresh and meaty. the seafood chowder likewise was stuffed with seafood. overall, a small town place; if you are a tourist to the area, would seek something that gives you a fresh food option with wider choice either in town or in the area.

The turkey dinner is excellent comfort food! The patio is take out only now unfortunately. But an amazing view of the ocean!

We rented the back deck for a wedding rehearsal dinner and it was fantastic, food service and ambience. I had pan fried haddock with mashed potatoes, and banana cream pie for dessert. Sooooo good.

Burger was hard, unevenly cooked, seemed to be reheated in the microwave. Service was rude - we waited a long time and the waitress finally came with our food in a take-out container & said “there used to be ice in the water, I swear”. Haha! The waitress didn’t want us to sit on the patio & said the chairs were wet, and even locked the door so we couldn’t go outside, but my kids wanted to see the water, so we went out. The chairs were dry as a bone - she then scolded another staff member for bringing other people outside to eat. Just keep on driving.

Terrible experience! Wait staff have the worst attitudes ever and shouldn’t work in customer service. Slow, rude, forgot to bring our drinks (water), threw the fries in the table with zero condiments, tables after us received food when we had ordered first and the reason given to us was they reserved a table??? But they didn’t pre order food. We left before our entree ever made it out of the kitchen which was 1 hour 20 minutes after we arrived. And the place wasn’t even that busy. The servers attitude is what ultimately prompted us to leave and we will never return.

Was very disappointed by our experience! First forgot about us and served a table after us…then we got their attention and ask if they were going to take our order, which they finally did! Then it seemed everyone that came in after us got served! After waiting far to long we left!
Six people are not that hard to miss in the restaurant…it’s not that big! ☹️

Very nice restaurant, service was great and friendly. Had battered fish and fries, the Haddock was very fresh and cooked perfect, there was a hint of a spice in the batter that was a little strange but did enjoy! Sat outside at picnic tables overloooking the bay, beutiful spot!
