I celebrated my 70th birthday today at Wiley’s by the Wharf with my daughters and granddaughter. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and service amazing! Loved the birthday decorations and especially the birthday card from the staff. Best place to celebrate! Highly recommend!
the best lobster roll and linguine! great service.
Had dinner here for Mothers Day, as usual the food, drinks and service were top notch. What really impressed me was how accommodating they were to us bringing our very vocal 9 month old boy. Toys, baby spoons and special snacks were all provided and he was treated like one of their own. Thanks for making it a special, stress-free dinner!
Stopped in for coffee and tea and the service was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful spot. And great coffee!
Service was amazing, felt like family.
Oysters and chowder were outstanding.
Great playlist.
Can’t wait to come back again!
Amazingly delicious awesomeness in the most unexpected of places. Shane and Stephanie have an amazing restaurant, and this is a “must eat here” destination if you are in the Wallace / Tatamagouche / Wentworth / Pugwash area. You will not be disappointed.
Great lunch
Wow, what a find! Definitely recommend this hidden gem.
Food was amazing and Stephanie gave us exceptional service . The chowder was hot and delicious as was the burger.
The pecan pie and chocolate fudge cake were delicious . Got to meet cook Shane to thank him for the scrumptious meal. Overall highly recommend a visit !!
Grew up here moved away came back with my wife from Alberta and we ate there and she fell in love with the food and the community Shane made us feel at home.
Sam was our waitress and she made me feel like I was home again and welcome to the community these people are the best in the business.
Money well spent wadelled with full belly’s
Best food ever
Wonderful food and personable service. High quality, fresh and local ingredients nicely presented and an evolving menu. Chef Shane loves to cook and it shows. For those who do not live locally it is worth the drive as many have already discovered. Wallace and surrounding areas are very fortunate to have such a great restaurant outside of Halifax.
Enjoyed a fantastic dinner this evening, my wife also had great celiac approved pasta.
Great spot with fantastic food and service.
Well be back.

I’ve been there a few times now. The atmosphere is charming and colourful. The service is always great and accommodating. The food portion size is hit or miss depending on the dish. Sometimes just right, like with pasta or burger/sandwich dishes, and could be a little bigger with seafood dishes. Flavours are usually just right with no complaints. If I could wish for one thing, and I have felt this each time I’ve been there, is that they would offer a bread course. Heck, I’d pay for it even. But each time I dine here I wish there was bread on the table. Please add a bread course, it would be so great; baguettes, focaccia or biscuits. Yum.
Yes, I’d recommend you give Wiley’s a try if you’re in the area.
