Every DQ I've been to in NS has microwaved their burgers. Even this one. Not to mention I've had that happen during low and high peak hours. Yet I've never had a microwaved burger at any DQ in 3 other provinces.That being said, I was stuck stopping here and upset that I was going to have to have a microwaved burger. I was extremely surprised that they didn't microwave it and it was fresh.Glad that I can finally change a review for a DQ in NS. In my opinion they have one of the best menu's for fast food and was always disappointed here in NS. I have one 2 min from my house in Truro and refuse to go because of their microwave happiness. Maybe I'll give them another shot too.Parking: Parking is plenty, but there is only about 5-6 right near the door. But this is due to it being a gas stop.

I used to love DQ and was looking forward to visiting it again. I bought a blizzard and was shocked that it was over 8 dollars. Still a good tasting icecream but not 8 dollars good!

We were very specific with our order .... the young lady repeated it back to us twice.... when we got home it was not what we ordered... My hubby Always orders a cheese and bacon burger no condiments, no lettuce, tomatoes, pickles ... just cheese and bacon. They gave him a burger with Everything on it... the last few times we have been there we have had to take food back.... we won't be going back ever again...

Often stop here on my way to and from Cape Breton for gas and and a DQ Crispy Chicken Sandwich with a milkshake.I know the shake isn't the most healthy choice available, but once every 3-4 months is fine in my books.I'd rather have an enjoyable reasonable length life than a long miserable one. ?
