I have to say that this restaurant has good service and it was fast. Also the staff were very friendly. I normally go to New Century Chinese Restaurant on Main Street, but they are closed because all their staff take vacation all at once. I ordered take out, which was the Chicken Lo Mein at Lotus Garden, and I was very disappointed. I paid over $17 which is not the bad part, and the portion indeed was really good for the price I paid. But the whole dish was so bland it was basically eating cardboard. This is exactly why I stopped eating here and go to New Century Restaurant. I like to taste my food, which I think is the most important thing. The chicken was disgusting! It was very slimy and it was mostly fat rather than meat. I also found a chicken bone in my dish. The veggies were good, but I like my Noodles more dry than that. Too wet for my liking.

Yummy food with lots of options. Takeout portions are HUGE. Egg rolls are perfectly done. Wonton soup is tasty and warm. Noodles and rice are great. Prices seem high until you look at the amount of food you are served.

Used to be amazing for their buffet. Since covid food orders are quick and take about 15 minutes from order time. I've had issues with calling them as frequently their phone is off. When ordering anything with sauce need to make sure to say sauce on the side or your food might be soggy by the time it gets home.

Rudeness ruins the place, nothing but old bags working there, also the servings could be alot bigger for the price compared to the other local restaurant that sells the same food.
I eat here periodically when visiting from Halifax and this place is amazing. The food is always fresh tasting and equal to or better than anywhere I would go in Halifax. I will always make stopping in a priority when I'm in the area. Keep up the good work Lotus Garden!!!!

I’ve been going to this restaurant for most of my life and the egg rolls are by far my favourite. Was very disappointed coming back recently as they have changed the recipe and they definitely are as good as they once were. Don’t change a good thing
