My husband and I ordered 2 pita sandwiches with hummus, lettuce and tomato ( he had olives too). We got 2 small coleslaws and I small bean salad. (When I say small… I mean small) and 2 cookies. $43. What a ripoff and the slaw was mediocre.

My wife is a vegan, so we searched for that and found this gem.
The second we entered we were enthralled with the entire vibe. The decor, the materials of construction, the layout, the mild ‘60s music, and the overall peaceful feeling all combined to set the stage for what was about to come.
We began by chatting with the owner. He is so gracious and kind - we learned about the vegan offerings as well as the non-vegan choices.
I loved the Yarmouth Beef on white bread. She devoured her veggie sandwich on brown bread. The selection of contents for each sandwich was large, so much to choose from. They are very generous with the proportions. We had more than enough!
For dessert I enjoyed a plum muffin. I hear ya’! When was the last time THAT was on the menu‽ It was scrumptious. I enjoyed it with a cup of handmade hot chocolate. A great combination.
Would we dine here again? I exclaimed, “I’d move IN here!!!” If this was in our town we’d be regulars for sure. We’ll have to settle for this superb vacation memory.
The Old World Bakery and Deli will forever be our new standard for what every bakery/deli/coffee/hot chocolate shop should be.

i was having some vehicle maintenance done yesterday and had some downtime early in the morning so I went here for a quick breakfast. I had their breakfast sandwich and a coffee. I was impressed with the high level of service, the decor was calm and relaxing, and the flavor of the breakfast sandwich was out of this world. Amazing place. Definitely recommend and will most certainly be back again.

We enjoyed a roastbeef sandwich and a yarmouth beef sandwich, as well as a Greek salad and the beet salad. The sandwiches are large and made when they take your order. We also took home some hearty muffins and some day-old whole wheat bread. There was only one person working at the time (3:30pm), so it took a little longer than normal. It's a very nice spot to enjoy some great wholesome sandwiches right on Main Street!.

Very nice little bakery with very tasty bread. The muffins are delicious. Very kind and nice service.The food is all kept fresh with cling film or plastic bags. Here an environmentally friendly alternative would be commendable.

Only place we found open for breakfast in town so we decided to give it a shot. Glad we did. Pleasant and efficient service, delicious breakfast sandwiches, and an excellent blueberry muffin. Nice to get tea that was NOT in a plastic tea bag as that seems to be common here. We’d come here again.
