I visit this place a couple years ago for a family get together. The food is so amazingly delicious ,The service is the best . I can say there's no better restaurant in Yarmouth than the windlass. I will recommend this place to everyone. Great job Windlass!!

I went here with my family... It has a very small town, family friendly atmosphere with mostly locals dining there. The hot lobster open faced sandwich was delicious with LOTS of lobster, and fisherman's platter was tasty and a good size. The fish chowder was creamy and thin, didn't have a ton of flavor but you could tell the fish was fresh (and the hot roll that came with it was great). I would definitely recommend stopping by!

Excellent lunch stop. Reasonable prices, great food. Lobster roll had plenty of meat, fries were crisp & greaseless. Seafood chowder was excellent, plenty of seafood. The scallops were melt in your mouth tender. Enjoyed the cook/wait staff, very friendly. Highly recommend it.

Yuck yuck yuck. Whole restaurant smells like an old grease trap. Went to have a family meal and left because there were bugs in the salt and pepper shakers!! The food is terrible and honestly I wouldn’t feed it to the homeless. If you’re okay with grease and insects for dinner than have at it at this restaurant
The food was great and freshly done, the waitress was really polite and attentive. Needs a little face-lift but we went for the food and we left very happy after a great meal!
