Restaurants in Fort Providence

“Family of 6 driving through from Florida: We drove off NWT-3 around dinner time after finding this restaurant on Google maps search.
We almost didn't stop because it looked closed from the parking lot with the dark windows.
Initially, I went in the left doors to find out it was a bar and was told the restaurant was on the right side of the building through a different set of doors
The Menu is displayed on a flat screen TV. Prices are higher than most places but due to the remoteness, it's understandable. A family of 6 cost $144 to eat here.
Four members of our family spaghetti wanted spaghetti. They only had enough for one person. Pizza must be ordered 6 hours in advance according to the menu board. We ordered the snowshoe burger (minus tomato and Onion) and it was very good. I did have to wipe some of the mayonnaise off it because it was thick. Others ordered a steak sandwich, chicken tenders and chicken plate which was all dark meat.)
The fries are cooked in the same oil as fish. You can get mashed potatoes with certain meals but not others. Portions were very large.
Overall we enjoyed our meal here and are happy we had dinner here. It was very clean.”
