It's definitely the best restaurant in Hay River. Decided to stop in and have lunch here. Their local whitefish was very good, accompanied by an excellent waiter, by the name of Viru. Next thing I knew, I was having supper here and again it was a filling and great meal.

Nice atmosphere with friendly attentive staff. Food was good, eggs Cooked well. The plate just needed some more has browns to be complete. Probably could have counted them on both fingers.

Ordered the firecracker penne and kids chicken fingers. Was an online order and was given a time frame to pick it up, went there early and waited 10 minutes before someone from the back told me to get my food from the front desk at the hotel. Food was cold, firecracker penne was so spicy I couldn't eat it and I love spicy food. Chicken tenders wasn't a meal like I thought it was, just 3 tenders no fries or dip either. Won't be ordering again.

I had the Eggs Benny which was, in my opinion, made to perfection. The coffee was also quite good. Our server was very attentive and kind - will be returning if we come back this way ?

Service was super quick and the waitress was awesome. Missing a key ingredient in a noodle bowl (the noodles) but we still left full.

They used to have the best firecracker penne. Now it’s over priced franks hot sauce and noodles. Not even close to the original.

Just made a review for the doghouse, the same food.

No complaints. The food was good, the place is clean and comfortable. Service was fast and efficient and staff friendly.

Atmosphere is fancy AS HELL and the mini cheese pizzas here are great. I occasionally get nachos though and they almost always come out terribly, usually burnt with hard cheese. Can’t give a 5 because of that but this is probably Hay River’s best restaurant!

Staff was very helpful, meal was served in a timely manner. Good customer service was shown by all.

Parking: Construction caused inadequate parking spots.

This review is twofold, breakfast and dinner. Breakfast: The breakfast was great, great value for money. Overall, the place has a lovely ambience and perfect atmosphere for date night. And friendly and attentive staff! It's also the only breakfast spot open before 11am on a Sunday. I would for sure eat here again, and the artichoke dip was delicious. Dinner: Again, great ambience and attentive staff. My only warning: do not order the butter chicken. I was unable to finish my meal and had to leave my date hanging, spending nearly an hour in the bathroom it was so spicy hot and gave me heartburn so bad I physically could not swallow. Not sure how the restaurant handled that poor experience, if we received a refund or discount on the meal as I was unable to go back to the table.
