Classic small town dive bar. Can't go wrong with the Trapper when in YEV.

Love the vibe, love the people. I'd be having a beer there right now if I was still in town!
Played with our band “Paris’ back in in the early 80’s. Some of our fondest memories were the 5 months we spent in Inuvik! 😎🎸
Too loud and rezzy everyone looses all controll not a quiet place for a nice afternoon.

It's an old hotel pub. Clean, very subdued lighting. No food, lots of drinks.
Simply and good ?

Bar skags are easy but they smell fishy ?
It's old school bar lots of space
The mad trapper is not what it used to be. Over the years it has really gone down hill. Needs a facelift. They often run out of certain drinks. No live music. But if you want to visit the most infamous bar above the arctic circle this is it!
Fun place to chill, good music.

When I lived in Inuvik, this place was closed and was called The Mad Trapper at the time. Many years ago and has a great history.
Had a blast. Locals were great. Music from the Dj was stellar. Place gets bumping’ at around midnight. Unfortunately there some locals that get mad at your fun. But you can tell which ones those are. Stick around and get a steak knife in the head or go back to the hotel and Chaulk it up as a win. Bartenders and business is great.
I went in for a beer while killing some time. The bartender was nice, the locals were friendly, and the decor is old but neat! Cash only though, so either bring cash or be prepared to use the ATM!
Pretty groty but where else are you going to have a dance party
