Grandma's Kitchen offers great burgers, fries, and onion rings, all served by the owner. The dining room features big windows with views of the rocky beach and the Arctic Ocean. Joanne's homemade buns make the hamburgers delicious, and the chicken wings have a tasty, zippy sauce. The best MacMuskox in the Arctic. The atmosphere is hard to be beaten. Forget the guide Michelin, go north and try Muktuk. You won't regret!
The wait might be a bit longer, but the fresh, made-to-order food is worth it. Kid-friendly and highly recommended. Parking is relaxed near the building. The restaurant is so eclectic and so much fun, the owner and her granddaughter were just so delightful.
Besides great food and a very fair price. Unfortunately, when some customers were there, "Grandma" wasn't well. "Grandpa" accommodated them well in her absence. They had some homemade beef and vegetable soup with a bun and got to try Muktuk(whale blubber) and dryfish. They loved it! Grandpa was a soft spoken, and genuine person.
