The best MacMuskox (😂) in the Arctic. The atmosphere is hard to be beaten. Lovely owner lady (Grandma) and spectacular setting. Forget the guide Michelin, go north and try Muktuk. You won't regret!

Unfortunately, when we were there, "Grandma" wasn't well. "Grandpa" accommodated us well in her absence. We had some homemade beef and vegetable soup with a bun and we got to try Muktuk(whale blubber) and dryfish. We loved it! Grandpa was a soft spoken, and genuine person. His face lit up when I told him we had gotten engaged on the Point the night before. He had the biggest smile and hugged me (a stranger), saying, "That's good news ,you have to come back to Tuk to get married then!"
Thank you, Grandpa, and we're glad that Grandma is on the mend.

If you find yourself in Canada and are craving a homey, heartwarming meal, Grandma’s Kitchen is the place to be. This family-owned gem brings a touch of nostalgic comfort to the dining scene with its cozy atmosphere and delicious fare.

From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a picturesque view of the rocky beach and the Arctic Ocean, thanks to the restaurant’s large windows that frame the breathtaking landscape. It’s the kind of setting that makes you want to linger and soak in the scenery.

The menu features a selection of classic diner favorites, and they do not disappoint. The burgers are juicy and perfectly seasoned, the fries are crispy and golden, and the onion rings are a crispy delight. Each bite feels like a warm embrace, reminiscent of a meal cooked by a beloved family member. Speaking of family, Grandma herself often takes your order, adding a personal touch that makes the experience all the more special.

Service is exemplary—friendly, attentive, and quick, with a genuine care that enhances the overall experience. The atmosphere is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed lunch. Plus, the pricing is very reasonable, with meals falling in the $10–20 range.

Parking is a breeze with a free lot available, and the process is straightforward: find a spot, park, and order at the window. Kid-friendliness is also a plus, with the kind of warm, welcoming vibe that makes families feel right at home.

In summary, Grandma’s Kitchen is a must-visit destination. It combines delightful food, stunning views, and heartwarming service in a way that makes it stand out. It’s the kind of place where you leave with a full belly and a smile, feeling like you’ve had a meal cooked by your own grandma.

I unfortunately didn't get to stay for food. Was looking for some souvenirs and was having no luck. Was searching while parked in the souvenir shop parking lot and a helpful local directed me to Grandma's Kitchen. They had some great souvenir's available and even though they were not open they helped me and my son grab a few things before we had to start back on our road trip south. Wish I could of stayed for dinner but time did not allow it. Thanks for the experience!

You will never taste a burger any better than at Grandma's Kitchen. But it is only open during tourist season, look for their open and close dates. Things are more flexible up here. The have made a portable garage into an indoor eating area with many windows to look at the Arctic Ocean view. Amazing scenery.
