If you love coffee like me, but it's your first time in Canada, I recommend a warm batch brew rather than a hot brew.
Decaf coffee is available. If you think about Korean coffee and bakeries, you might be disappointed. Selling the most authentic coffee in Yellowknife. Almond croissant pretty good.

On a cold Winter morning grabbing a dirty Chai for the road was awesome. Washed down a green tea brownie with it. Well done on the roast. Bold flavor for sure. The local soaps were a nice touch to walk away with also.

Every cup here is crafted with care, warming you right down to your soul, like a tale told by the fire on a cold northern night. I had a flat white that could wake the dead—or at least revive that nice old Asian gent who passed out atop Coit Tower last year. It’s that powerful!
Five stars for Barren Ground Coffee—where the spirit of the North and the art of coffee blend in perfect harmony. If you’re in Yellowknife, this is where you need to be!

This is always my first stop when I come to town and I was gifted some beans that I took back to Toronto and I can safely say every cup of coffee I've been making at home as been super delicious.

This is a very cute coffee shop that everyone should visit at least once. The BLT and strawberry mint lemonade slushie I had were amazing. The employees were very nice, and the look of the shop tied everything together into a pleasant experience.

Great coffee and breakfast sandwich. The staff seem disorganized when it comes to fulfilling orders. I was there 2 days in a row and witnessed a couple wrong orders on each day. I think it could be resolved by simply writing the customers name on their cup!
Otherwise fantastic, and will return if ever im back in Yellowknife.

Just got a cherry yoghurt danish and the spiced hot chocolate with oat milk (which they don’t charge extra for!!). Both were absolutely delicious and I imagine I’ll be coming back here while in Yellowknife! Staff were friendly and helpful, and if it’s nice weather you can sit outside!
