Good fish and chips, well cooked. Helpful staff seated us right away. Perhaps the fries could be a little less on the dark side. We had the whitefish, both deep fried and grilled and both were good! A bit on the rustic side, but perhaps that is intended.

Extremely rude owner, got mad when we asked where our food was after waiting for at least 40 minutes. First time we asked he just pointed at the plates and when we asked again in 10 minutes he decided to blow up on me. Acted like it was a privilege to be able to have dinner there and he was doing us a favour. Alright food but used to be better. Fries looked like they have been fried in oil that hasn’t been changed for a year

I used to love Bullocks, the salad was so good and came with a feta dill dressing and the fries were fresh cut fries but now the salad is just lettuce and shredded carrots with not a lick of feta to be had and the fries are just ok, it's definitely not the old bullocks I remember anymore. I also had a black curly hair in my salad, it was deep in there, I showed the server and he just took away my plate without an apology and still charged the full amount like it was no big deal. I'm pretty sure it was the cooks beard hair as it was black and curly and they don't wear hair nets but regardless hair should not be in my food 🤢
Local fish. Pan fried (with white wine) or deep fried. Catch of the day. So not always the same. Fresh ingredients. Lake to table food. Great atmosphere. Nice outdoor patio to view the marine life around Olde Town Yellowknife. Eat local and enjoy. I asked for no fries so they increased salad

It was busy around lunchtime on a Friday but the staff were working hard to get everyone seated and fed. The fish and chips were good, huge portions so come hungry.
