First, I would say, if you can, make sure you go at a time when it’s not super busy; because if it’s busy it’s pretty chaotic, even if you’ve made the reservation. I see on here it’s been given some bad reviews because of this. But if you go when it’s going be quieter, like when it first opens up (noon) or before 4 PM then you’ll have the most amazing experience! I was in Yellowknife for 13 days and I had five meals here! Working my way through the fish menu. And they were all absolutely beautiful!!! The BEST fish I’ve ever had! The price looks a bit pricey (but that’s the norm at all places in Yellowknife) but you absolutely get what you pay for so it is totally worth it! I had the trout, the cod, the whitefish, the Arctic char (which is like a salmon), and the inconnu fish. It’s all local fish, and they were all absolutely mouthwatering, melt-your-mouth delicious! I HIGHLY recommend this place and if I get back to Yellowknife I will eat there lots and lots again! It’s an absolute gem! And it’s in Old Town Yellowknife, which in itself is an absolute gem! Bring a marker pen so you can add that you were there to all the cool graffiti and things posted on the walls and ceilings from all of its visitors!

However, receipt was not provided when we pay at the cashier, we got charged "Auto gratuity for groups of 6 or more (18%)" when we were a group of 5; the cashier Pradip never mentions that tips are already included, he stands there and swings around their POS system as it prompts me for more tips. Long story short, I end up paying 36.4% in tips. Be aware!! Don't get scam like I did.

Amazing arctic char and bison ribeye, as well as local beer! The place was packed, so we were fortunate to have made a reservation. The atmosphere inside was very unique. If I'm ever in town again I will be back for sure.Dietary restrictions: No issue with nut and peanut allergy.

It was more edible than I thought.Good atmosphere. It 100% feels like I am in a foreign country.There are reviews saying that buffalo steak smells bad or is tough, but that's not the case. The sauce is thick. Looks like you caught the smell? Baking is also suitable. There are a lot of reviews saying that fish dishes are better cooked in a pan, but they are just so-so. It feels like Dongtaejeon. Cell phone data does not work. It takes a million years to send a photo on KakaoTalk. There is no wifi. The staff is very friendly. I went during lunch without a reservation, but luckily I got in right away. However, I think I'll have to wait if I have to. Chinese tourists enter in large numbers. A Chinese group travels at a place called Bucket List Tour. I have to call a taxi when I go back. I guess there are no taxis on the road.

Even though it was a weekday evening, the reserved seats were full so I had to wait, but it was worth the wait. The buffalo meat was so soft and delicious without any smell, and the fried cod was moist and soft without being greasy. Overall, it was light yet delicious. There were two light and one dark beer served with local beer, and they all went well with the food.
