“the Mantle was a great find for us. The restaurant space is roomy and comfortable. The menu is very interesting and fairly priced. Crispy chicken wings and spring rolls that we had were very very good. My steak was a little bit overcooked but still very tasty, as were the (red skin) mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed vegetables. The Lechon Kawali (pork) was super delicious, crispy on the outside, tender not overcooked inside. Portions were good for the cost. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!“

“While chasing the Northern Lights in Yellowknife, I stumbled upon Red Apple Restaurant — it turned out to be the warmest meal of my entire trip!
The food was delicious and perfect for the cold weather. It warmed me up from the inside out! The service was also very friendly and made me feel right at home. After a hearty meal, I was recharged and ready to go aurora hunting — such a perfect arrangement!
