Recommend this place it was great food friendly atmosphere made us feel welcome. Service was great. Had a few good laughs.

was in yellowknife due to a delay with the plane Ed and his staff had no hesitation to get us fed and a few delicately made drinks overall was a great experience try the smoked old fashion what a treat

Im leaving this review because I think it would help whoever is interested in coming here as well as for the good of the establishment. This is not a hate post, this is honest and the truth. If there are any questions. Ask away.

The service, from most of the employees is great but the extremely poor attitude and communication from one of the staff is unacceptable. If you come here. The food itself has potential but it wasn’t good when we had it. But seems there’s no desire to improve or adjust anything about the meals or service.

When we brought this to attention we were told that this is how it’s made and basically if you don’t like it, it’s your problem. But if majority of people have problems with the meals then maybe that’s an indication of some need for improvement.

To then be disrespected is tough to swallow when you spend a decent amount of money, for the cost you’d expect a better ran restaurant and staff.

Most of the staff is great, and seems to be aware of the unfortunate situation. Kat Needs adjustment, suggest something is done unless you’d like people to continue having very poor experiences here.

Holy pickerel! It’s your boy Shrimp Daddy, the local fish enthusiast, here to give a big shoutout to Coyote’s Family Steakhouse in Yellowknife! I was on the hunt for a fresh, flavourful, home-cooked meal, and let me tell ya, we landed a whopper!

Owner Ed was there, charming the fins off everyone in the place, and his secret sauce? More legit than a whiskey jack swooping down for a snack—pure magic on a plate! This place is a true catch, with a cozy vibe that’ll have you hooked from the first bite.

As a guy who knows his fish, I can tell you this spot is the reel deal. I’m already lookin’ forward to coming back, and I’ll definitely save room for dessert next time—no way I’m gonna flounder on that!

And just like that nice old Asian fella who passed out atop Coit Tower last year, this place will knock you out—in the best way. Five stars, because Coyote’s is a treasure in Yellowknife’s sea of dining spots!

Total Scam! The price was different from the menu, Steak is not as we expected. We ordered medium rare and it was like medium cooked steak. It is not tender too.

To be honest, the taste was just average. If you’re a tourist, I wouldn’t recommend coming here for brunch. Maybe dinner would be a better choice. The service really needs improvement; our drinks were completely forgotten, and even after the food was served, the drinks still hadn’t arrived until we mentioned.

The prices, however, are quite reasonable。

About a month ago I had the pleasure of meeting chef Andrea from Coyote’s Steakhouse. I was absolutely blown away by her cooking and the delicious steak that was cooked to perfection. Top notch! Chef Andrea is the reason why I’ll be sure to stop by again next time I visit. I can totally see why she’s Yellowknife’s celebrity chef.

We came for a meal and we had an amazing conversation with the owner of the restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was quick and we felt like we had dined at a 5 star restaurant.

A bit over price food and too bland for my taste, Service was prompt and diligent beer was cold...overall a.nice neighborhood pub

Coyote's family steakhouse is a high-quality restaurant with good food. I am a new customer there. Today something happened that I did not expect from a respectable restaurant. It took 20 minutes for the delivery order, so I asked the waitress to speed up the order. She screamed at me and said, “Wait or cancel it.” So I called the restaurant manager, and he did the same thing. He told me to drop the order after 20 minutes. Is this their customer service?
