The first day I went, I was so surprised by how big the portion was and how delicious it was!! I went again the next day, but they were running out of ingredients, but they seemed so desperate that they said they could make soft tofu stew and kimchi stew, so I quickly took it out!!!
The portion was so large that I had some leftover and ate it for breakfast the next day, and it was just as delicious!!
I was impressed to eat Korean food in a faraway place. That japchae?❣️
I really enjoyed it!!!

I came here because I was craving Korean food, and I am thankful that there is a Korean restaurant in Yellowknife, and I was impressed by the taste.
The amount is huge!!! If there was a store near my company, I would go there often haha.
Looking at the reviews, there seems to be a lot of likes and dislikes, but I think it would be a good fit for people who aren't picky eaters.
Especially the soft tofu stew is awesome bbb

The options of international cuisine is limited in Yellowknife. I am so glad that they Korea House that offers delicious korean dishes here that is a comfort for the long winters. If you are not into spicy foods just let them know so they can adjust and remove the heat.
Their servings are always a lot which is worth the price. My favourite is the Jeyeuk Bokkeum.
Really a place to visit and eat in Yellowknife. A regular fo to for good korean food. Heads up, they close on Sundays.

The owner is very kind and the portions are plentiful and delicious!
I ate takeout kimchi stew and bulgogi, and I was surprised at how much it tasted like the food I had in Korea. My wife has morning sickness, so it was always difficult if she didn't eat, but it got better after eating. Haha.

Disappointing Experience
The service was awful—staff seemed uninterested in helping, especially if you don’t speak perfect English. They were rude and dismissive. On top of that, the prices are way too high for the quality of food you get, and they automatically include a tip that’s even higher than expected! Definitely not worth it. I won’t be coming back.

We stopped by 3 times during our stay in Yellowknife. (Store 1, Package 2) Since it is Korean food eaten abroad, I thought I would be satisfied with just the taste, but it is a taste that will never be inferior even if it is sold in Korea. The owner’s cooking taste is amazing! The portions were so large that I couldn't eat them all in one meal, so after trying them once, I packaged them to share. I tried galbitang, kimchi stew, pork, beef bulgogi, fried dumplings (kimchi), fried dumplings (meat), and they were all good....?

The owner is very friendly, the food is delicious and the portion size is huge!!!
I'm a big eater, but I couldn't finish the Rabokki and had some leftover.. haha.
I ate it yesterday and wanted to eat it again, so I went back today.
I was late so it was closed. I will definitely come again, boss!
Stay healthy always :)

Really love this place. The two korean moms are really friendly but I get why some whose not used to asian parents might find them snobbish.
Food taste authentic as someone who has gone to Korea. They serve really fast as well.

This restaurant staff provided very bad service, we didn't eat and leaving. Very bad experience, please don't go this restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: Very bad
This is my first Korean restaurant that doesn't even give me a glass of water or a piece of kimchi as a side dish. You have to wait in line to order, eat directly from the food counter, and since all dishes are disposable, you have to throw them away yourself. They ask for a tip, but they emphasize that you have to tip in Canada. I paid for the food exactly, but why on earth are you asking for a tip for the service?

This is literally the worst Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. The pictures of the food looked okay but the food tasted terrible. Avoid it if you can.

The food here is surprisingly good. I had the pork bibimbap and the meat was very good. The other toppings and the rice were well-done as well. The service was fast and workers were very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like about the atmosphere was that I was the only one there. I’ve also never been to Yellowknife before so I don’t know what food prices are like here but I felt like this meal was quite expensive. However, with the big portion and excellent taste, I’d definitely recommend Korea House.
