This was then worst tasting pork spare ribs. It tasted bland and smell fresh. It’s as though they took it from freezer did no washing and threw it in the fryer. Just see the pics. I threw it all in the garbage

My go to place for quick chinese food since the 90s and it never dissapoints. I was surprised this time though, the rice and deep fried shrimp were so good.

i went there first time and got a very bad impression. which i would not come back again. but i want to give it a second chance since there is only so few places here.
my first time i order a western dish which is so salty which would not be explained. then i figure out they must did it in purpose for some reason.
i worked in restaurant for many years and has family run the business. i know what kind of bad thing and what i am saying.
so my 2nd time is even more disappointing, i am speaking about the food only.
i order a beef fried noodle, the noodle done well but the meat has no taste and feel like chemical. i tried to eat that because that is all there is. but the meat may be bad and they wash it with chemical, they over did it and it taste bland. after eating a few pieces i can't take it more, knowing there is no nutrition and chemical bad for my health.
they must bought meat that is not marketable condition. i can easily say this is the worst restaurant i had been to.

If you want to try Chinese or Hong Kong style food in Yellowknife, this is the best one. The taste of cuisine is very closed to local Hong Kong food. Service is excellent. Highly recommend salty fish with chicken fried rice, beef fried noddles, sweet and sour pork..etc.

The wonton soup was so salty it is inedible afraid to eat the rest of our food.

Surprisingly excellent Cantonese-style cuisine! We had the eggplants, sweet and sour pork, steamed veggies, lamb stew and the Taiwanese egg and shrimp omelette which was incredible (such juicy succulent prawns in a soft steamed egg scramble). They are Canto-taste buds approved 😋 Friendly and kind service from the waitress. Thank you for a good meal!

We ordered a special fried rice and it was awful, some of the rice was not even cooked well, paid for almost $50 (we ordered chicken balls, sweet and sour spare ribs and the special fried rice). I have no concern with the sweet and sour spare ribs though but the rest was really very disappointing! I phoned the restaurant and let them know my family's concern!

The food here is really terrible. The noodles are completely tasteless, and all the fried items are coated in corndog batter. The wonton soup is so salty that it’s inedible. The only things that are somewhat okay are the stir-fried vegetables, shrimp, pineapple, and Jell-O. Don’t be fooled by the appearance of the noodles—you might end up feeling really frustrated.

Had the Szechuan beef, asked extra spicy and it came just right. Vegetables were crunchy the way I like them.

They were super nice and polite. For some reason the wontons taste similar to the terrible Ginger beef I think it's cuz they don't change their oil cuz it's the aftertaste I was really hesitant on getting the food cuz the last review I saw the guy said the spring rolls we're tasteless turns out he's right and he got food poisoning which I don't know if that's true the food only took 10 minutes you can tell they just care about the money and I don't believe most of these five star reviews are real I know a lot of restaurants that take it sad to say both times being here were terrible dine-in and dine out neither were good I'd rather go to the other Chinese restaurant it's crazy that there's no food standards here in Yellowknife don't get the poutine or the wontons KD & wieners is a lot better

Delivery driver was great. Rice tasted like it was hours old. Spring rolls tasted off, got food poisoning from it the next day. Usually a nice atmosphere when you dine in.

Wow! Amazing service! A rare find in Yellowknife. A small error was made with our delivery and they fixed it super fast (in 20 min😳) with no extra charge!!! We have been here for 20+ years and haven’t found any better Chinese food. Always fresh, always piping hot. Recommended 100%
