Joined friends for a couples night out and decided to try Bluebelle for the first time. Situated in an older building downtown, the restaurant has an unexpected chill vibe. The servers were wonderful, providing helpful suggestions and being attentive in keeping glasses full. At the recommendation of our server I tried the Paneer Do Pyaza with Naan bread. This was something I had never tried elsewhere and my trust in her recommendation paid-off. It was truly delicious and super-satisfying!! Only downside was the longer than expected arrival of the food which was definitely >40min. That said we all quickly forgot the time it took and enjoyed a memorable meal. We are sure to be back very soon to try other suggestions on the menu.

We were looking for place to eat in Yellowknife and while the entrance is a bit hidden off the main street, it was more than worth the visit. Food and service are excellent and the setting is comforting. I highly recommend Bluebell for anyone looking for a wide range of food choices and unique experience!!

First off, the service was slow and we had to get our waitressess attention despite the restaurant being empty. I can't really comment too much on the food because when they brought us the Cesar salad I noticed it was moving and found a live caterpillar or maggot on it. Not sure if there were other bugs in the food but we both lost our appetite after that! Would not recommend, save yourself the money and go anywhere else.

Bluebell Eatery has the best Indian cuisine and one of the best menus in all of Yellowknife! They have put serious effort into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in their restaurant and they have made this space vibrant again. The owners and management are always looking for ways to improve their offerings and even host special events/theme nights at their establishment. Bluebell is no longer a hidden gem and the word is out, so do yourself a favour and try it for yourself! 😌
Worst food ever. Ordered mutton curry platter. Awful cooking. I can cook better than this chef. The naan wasn't made at the restaurant. It was purchased from outside store and just warmed it up. I spent $33 just for a small portion of mutton, rice & naan. No salad. You could have a buffet with this price in any other city. Total waste of money.

Big problem of this restaurant is the door entrance of building to second floor was too tight and hard to open it. (I’d seen their ‘OPEN’ sign but it would feel closed. I’d ordered lamb curry meal at lunch, it was good and cocktail was good too. Friendly server and atmosphere was pretty good for travellers want a meal at the downtown Yellowknife.
