Nice atmosphere, we didn’t buy anything. However we were disappointed there wasn’t a Yellowknife, or even a Northwest Territories mug. The staff said they’ve never had them. I realize this is a bigger issue on corporate level rather than this store, but in case you’re a tourist like us looking for a mug to add to your personal been there series, you won’t find any.

I ordered my 2yr old daughter a hot chocolate as a treat. Employee gave me a mocha. The management proceeded to tell me that it wasn’t coffee, just how they write the order. Even after my husband tried it and confirmed it was coffee. My daughter was sick for 2 days after this.

The atmosphere and taste are the same all over the world haha. What's different is the price? I was thinking of buying a City Cup because Elonape only has one store, but they don't have any.

Had one of the worst customer service experience at drive thru recently. Some employees should specifically be trained on how to interact with customers especially the night crew. If I’m looking over the window that doesn’t mean I’m stalking you just waiting for my damn coffee which you take ages to make.

The staff really make this place shine. Starbucks is a chain, with decent coffee, but the staff here are very friendly and have always made my order perfectly.

Ordered two breakfast sandwiches via the drive thru and was given the wrong ones. I was charged for the incorrect ones which were $3.15 more per sandwich. The incorrect ones were taken from me and thrown out. I was given the correct ones but I was made to feel badly because one of the staff told me it was so sad to throw out the incorrect ones because they are delicious. Staff did not refund me the $6.30.

Staff not friendly, especially the males. They charged me $1.50 MORE for a small drink, it was very confusing and annoying. The staff were mopping under my feet while I was trying to enjoy my coffee with friends. Took forever to get my drink.... the guy seemed like he didnt know how to make the drink and it did not taste good. I wont be going there again.

The store itself is spacious with plenty of seating. The experience of ordering drinks from this location is horrible! Easily the worst customer service I’ve ever received. As customers we are paying a premium price for a premium product. I’m happy to do that, but I expect there to be consistency across a brand. That does not exist at this Starbucks location. Starbucks offers a brand promise of customization and experience, it is an fundamental expectation as the customer and it should be among some of the first things staff are educated about. My experience would absolutely stop me from returning to this location. I’d rather be treated with decency and respect, than have an expensive tea or coffee that I enjoy!

So the location is nice - that’s it.Going to have to agree with the other reviewers about being gaslit and not accommodating custom drinks.Riley, the barista that’s only been at Starbucks for ~1year has to be to most rude person I’ve ever encountered.I’ve been to countless Starbucks locations, have ordered the same drink _every_ time, but was told I was wrong and they entered it as another drink which cost more.Tried to show all the previous recents and orders in my app - didn’t matter, still told I was wrong.Was also told that all the other baristas that took my orders in the past entered it wrong, and didn’t know what they were doing.Got into a bit of a heated conversation, and the supervisor just sat there and watched while the whole thing went down - then EVENTUALLY intervened.My suggestion for other folks experiencing problems, is to call the toll free Starbucks customer service line. They’ll create a case, and report it to the district manager (above the local store manager), which is tracked at the corporate level.

Consistently mess up orders and then when you confront staff about your order being wrong they gaslight you and tell you it's not wrong. Have had to show my order on the sticker to staff and explain to them what I ordered.

This location served the community a lot better when it was open earlier than 7:30 AM… It seems that now there’s always a huge influx of people right at 7:30 and the staff are overwhelmed.
