Went this morning to get cookies and also got a Cookies & Dreams ice cream cone. The ice cream, and waffle cone were divine. Excellent! (Was very busy because it was a Sunday!)

This is not a simple gift shop with cafe. Ok, the food is excellent and the coffee are also amazing. Nothing beats a hot mocha in a cold day in Yellowknife. The gift shop also has lots of good stuff to buy, many designed by local artists. The best thing is the kicksled and ice cave tour. The kicksled is so exciting and amazing. Way better than just regular dog sledding. The tour will take you on the kicksled pulled by two dogs per person, going across a frozen lake. Then a short hike to a huge frozen ice water fall. Then you will ride the kicksled back. One of the best winter activities you can do in Yellowknife. The tour guides are super friendly. Highly recommended.

Super cozy coffeeshop with a souvenir section. I stopped by here multiple times and have enjoyed both sweet and savoury snacks and drinks. Their ice cream is really good as well.

One of the best spots in YK:
*Great location - easy to explore Old Town
*Excellent coffee, homemade treats, great homemade ice cream
*Indoor and outdoor seating
*great local crafts
*great for brunch, lunch, dinner (recommend their tapas menu!
*live music
*adventure tours / rentals for summer and winter

Its a go-to spot almost weekly for us. Huge fan. You can't go wrong.

Only drawbacks - its so popular and parking is limited, and service can slow a little at peak times. Well worth the wait. And all employees have been helpful/friendly.

Very expensive for tiny tiny portions and other than this one young woman (she is very sweet), service is not friendly. I love the ambiance though and the location is great. I still think it's worth trying!
