You wouldn't expect amazing food in the middle of nowhere, but this is one of the many phenomenal restaurants in town.

Filipino and Western cuisine. Sports bar feel, with TVs, pool table, and then, of course, a karaoke setup. Food was good. My mom really liked the pancit. I had a burger. They seemed to do a lot of takeout so even if the restaurant was quiet, like it was when we were there, there was a bit of a wait for the food. Soft drinks were refillable. Service was good.

Very good food and fairly large portions, with which one person eats two, the attention was very good and quite friendly, the entrance is a bit confusing.

The portion is very large, it is recommended that two people share it🤣The taste is rich, and it is very comfortable to drink the soup on a cold day
The food was delicious, but the portion was too big, so my friend and I didn’t finish the meal. I hope the store clerk doesn’t misunderstand 😝

The server was friendly. We ordered fish and chips. However, the fish and chips were undercooked. The batter tasted like it was runny. It was almost impossible to eat. The wonjatangmyeon was also average. If you want to come, I recommend a different menu.

I wanted a warm soup, and wonton noodle soup warmed my stomach ;) (I ordered it less salty in case it was salty, but I guess I don't have to!) and Calamari is soo good!!! Server’s voice is so nice also :). We had a good dinner.

Cozy spot that offers great food and fun atmosphere. The foods did not disappoint. I actually like the Chicken Inasal, although not listed on the menu, you can ask the staff for it. Its flavorful, tender, and grilled just right. Other must try is the Sizzling Pork Sisig and Stir Fry Noodles (Pansit).

The staffs are friendly and attentive. Plus, they have karaoke, which adds a fun twist to your night out! Definitely worth checking out.

Don't let the exterior of the building deter you. The Mantle restaurant (upstairs) has a diverse menu. The chicken wings were very very good. Spring rolls were very good. The Lechon Kawaly (a Filipino pork dish) was DELICIOUS! My ribeye steak was a bit overdone, but still good; they may have mistakenly given me a different cut of steak. The mashed potatoes that came with it were very good and the veggies were steamed perfectly. Our meal came quickly. Our servers were very friendly. I look forward to a return visit to try some of the other dishes.

Note: some of the pictures shown of the Mantle and the provided descriptions are for a different restaurant in Yellowknife! This is very confusing. For certain, the Mantle restaurant is not part of a hotel and it has a very visible sign on the street.

Really nice pork belly (juicy, crispy and succulent) and karoake on Wednesday aka free entertainment. Gave me RSL vibes to my fellow Aussies.

We came here for a work event and they were very accommodating! We had a large group but the food and service were still great. We asked them to turn on the karaoke and they even stayed open a little later for us! We had a great time here!

the Mantle was a great find for us. The restaurant space is roomy and comfortable. The menu is very interesting and fairly priced. Crispy chicken wings and spring rolls that we had were very very good. My steak was a little bit overcooked but still very tasty, as were the (red skin) mashed potatoes and perfectly steamed vegetables. The Lechon Kawali (pork) was super delicious, crispy on the outside, tender not overcooked inside. Portions were good for the cost. Service was fast and friendly. Highly recommend!

Normally, it would be break time, but since the restaurant was open, it was nice to have a late lunch, and the burger tasted okay. The restaurant is very spacious, but since it's on the second floor, I wasn't sure if it was open or not, so I went in with some hesitation.
