Nice staff and decent diner style atmosphere. Food on the other hand was terrible. Fried items were very greasy and sweet and sour flavours were just mostly ketchup.

Tasty authentic Chinese food, and cheap by Yellowknife standards. Any negative atmostphere is because of the clientele this being Yellowknife, not the restaurant itself.

We went for the Sunday buffet. There are many choices of breakfast and Asian food. The trays are restocked very often so the food taste very good and is hot. Will go back for sure!

The restaurant is not much to look at but the food is consistently good. Service is usually fast and friendly. Best Wonton Soup in town!
Good. Potatoes slightly undercooked. But good for the price.

They serve some decent Chinese food and I find that they do a lot of tour group so it could be crowded at certain time.

we ordered 3 dishes, one fried rice, one stir fry rice noodle, one just fried vegetable..........the price for the fried vegetable is way too expensive, $19, i can buy many lettuces from supermarket and cook by myself...........the fried rice is so so, the one I like the rice noodle, not oily, taste is good, and the noodle is not stick together or easily brokenthe other day we order rice noodle soup and wonton noodle, that is just so so and the price is too expensive

Was told by Morning Star that Red Apple is Yellowknife's best chinese resturant. Hmmmm... NO, I don't so. Beef over cooked, too tough to eat. Soup watered down. Overall it was ok.
