A great little place to stop! The food is delicious, the staff were friendly, and the place is clean and cozy. I've been here a few times and I have never left unsatisfied.
They also have the best French Onion soup I've had in a restaurant. It is worth the visit!
Fantastic laid back atmosphere and fabulous food! Not to miss while in Yellowknife :)

Staff was unfriendly, watched the waitor wipe his nose constantly without washing his hands and the menu was undesirable with very minimal selections.

Parking: Parking is minimal, but free. There are two small parking areas around the corner from the restaurant. If you can carpool, do it!
Neat experience being able to go to one of the original buildings in Yellowknife to have a meal.
I had the prospectors platter ($25) which was a unique charcuterie board.

We had to stop at this iconic location. The patio was open and was the perfect place for dinner.
I got the Bison Meatloaf and I highly recommend it! The sauce and greens really added to the overall flavour. I was totally full afterwards and completely satisfied.
Thanks for a great experience!

Very nice service and super friendly staff. Totally chill atmosphere and “campy” feeling. Would have enjoyed the patio watching float planes land but weather was too cool
Fish and chips are the best! !
The sirloin steak also had just the right amount of fat for a Japanese person (not too greasy or mushy) and cost between $19 and $28.
Steak comes with a choice of potatoes, salad, or rice on the side.

Wildcat cafe is a piece of Yellowknife history that I was excited to re-visit. The atmosphere and location are great, lovely to sit on the patio and soak up the sun. Service was good, our server was very attentive. It was a shame that the food options were very limited and nothing more that what you would expect from a burger place. The only nod to Northern cuisine was the bison dish. I was disappointed as I was looking for the food to be reflective of the atmosphere.
