The food was great.
One of Fav Spots on town The Kicksled is Very Very Good Here as well.
The best sweet potato fries!
And amazing bacon mushroom burger!
The burger was pretty good.
$3,50 extra for ceasar salad served in a dish that most establishments serve salsa in.
The service was less than great. The server seemed to be overwhelmed and annoyed at serving in a pub that holds maybe 25 people seemingly, especially me! I wasn't impressed with that.
Probably won't go back. There are better spots in yellowknife. Try Copperhouse.
We ate here our 1st night in Yellowknife. Good eatery to start a stay. Great drinks menu and good food selection. Great location and prices. Staff were all warm and welcoming. Had pesto pasta and the grilled cheese. Yummy!

The TrapLine Lounge was a great place to meet up for after work cocktails and appetizers on my trip to Yellowknife.
Staff were courteous and made great recommendations for all of us, and all of us returned several times throughout our trip.
I find that most locals will tell you to venture away from the hotel for something 'more local', but it was really telling that most of the locals we encountered recommended the TrapLine. Loved all of it, and would suggest it's worth a stop!

The food was simple, classic, chicken soup and Reuben sandwich. I enjoyed the Canadian Merlot. The atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. The waitress was hyper professional and kind.

A place that saved me from almost not receiving the grace of the Lord due to a strange artic rule on Sunday.

Amazing small lounge with modern architecture and old town accents. Food was wonderful. Ordered the basics such as calamari, honey garlic wings, nachos, those were super good.Tried the seafood chowder and the gruyere risotto and they were both splendid.Service was amazing and straight to the point we had the privilege of being served by the YouTube lady!

Just got from the airport, traders grill was full so the hotel recommended the trapline lounge, We sit down and a ladys in their mid 30s i guess with short hair and a little overweight comes to take our order. She notices my sister is a minor and starts yelling at us that we need to leave that we are not going to be the cause of her loosing her alcohol license, we had no clue it was 18+ . She was so rude, our first impression of the explorer hotel was honestly very bad, there are ways of talking to people.
