Atmosphere ruined by staff. Food was mid; definitely enjoy the other restaurant more. My drinks were okay and it was nice to have stuff to connect with my friend for his birthday. Myself, my friend and two others left due to the behaviour of our bartender that was quite embarrassing and unprofessional. I emailed the manager last week with no resolve and honestly don’t recommend the stress of a negative vibe affecting the decent cocktails being served
The other staff for the other restaurant make the experience great, are professional, and the food is amazing!

Went for supper and a few drinks a couple times over my trip. Was looking for a place where I could get a good Cesar. Something that shouldn’t be too hard to do but apparently is. Had prob the best plate of nachos I’ve had in 5 years. On top of that we had the best bartender I’ve seen in my life so friendly and jokey her name was Skye there was also a fella named Devin. After the Cesar I tried a few more cocktails a couple that I’ve never tried but thought hey, here is a professional who can prob actually do it right and I can decide if I actually like these drinks. So after having a 007 martini and a manhattan like Don Draper I went back to have a wonderful and perfectly made Cesar garnished simply with easy going conversation and laughter. I’ve been to many fancy places across the country that try hard to have an aesthetic. In the end, it comes down to people. If you’re looking for good service and professional bartenders this is the place. Skye and Devin were Effortlessly polished, charming and professional and most of all just plain good. My only suggestion for the restaurant would be to look into cloning technology. Thanks again 🙏

Sky is a bartender that will selectively choose who she tells at at the bar instead of pulling aside to have a conversation with. Had a great time with who we met and this person was joking and just making things fun. Sky chose to berate this individual for offering a gentleman a shot stating ‘this wasn’t that kind of a bar’ meanwhile I was told by others there were louder more rowdy people in the past and they were never treated the way this lady was treated. Unsure if it was a race thing but she was not that drunk. She was there for buddy’s birthday and they were cut off because Sky made assumptions. Go a night when she is NOT working

Well... I normally don't put negative words here, BUT! I should be honest here! The vibe is excellent here (because you got not many options) service is ok. BUT they either need to change those chefs or reconsider their positions here! The foods are terrible! I just wanna be honest, and please excuse my honesty. I ordered the calamari to start. Well it was the worst one I've ever tried in my life!!!!! I said, ok, let's go with the main food, I ordered the Bison Ribeye which was almosthe most expensive plate for $61!!!!! Can you believe it???!!! BUT when it cane in... OMG the worst tasteless weirdest stake I kinda ever had specially fir this price!!!!!!!!!!
So I just wanted to be honest with you, the foods are terrible here. If you wanna just enjoy the vibes, it's good.

One of Fav Spots on town The Kicksled is Very Very Good Here as well.
The best sweet potato fries!
And amazing bacon mushroom burger!
The burger was pretty good.
$3,50 extra for ceasar salad served in a dish that most establishments serve salsa in.
The service was less than great. The server seemed to be overwhelmed and annoyed at serving in a pub that holds maybe 25 people seemingly, especially me! I wasn't impressed with that.
Probably won't go back. There are better spots in yellowknife. Try Copperhouse.
We ate here our 1st night in Yellowknife. Good eatery to start a stay. Great drinks menu and good food selection. Great location and prices. Staff were all warm and welcoming. Had pesto pasta and the grilled cheese. Yummy!

Restaurantji Recommends
The TrapLine Lounge was a great place to meet up for after work cocktails and appetizers on my trip to Yellowknife.
Staff were courteous and made great recommendations for all of us, and all of us returned several times throughout our trip.
I find that most locals will tell you to venture away from the hotel for something 'more local', but it was really telling that most of the locals we encountered recommended the TrapLine. Loved all of it, and would suggest it's worth a stop!

The food was simple, classic, chicken soup and Reuben sandwich. I enjoyed the Canadian Merlot. The atmosphere was very friendly and cozy. The waitress was hyper professional and kind.

A place that saved me from almost not receiving the grace of the Lord due to a strange artic rule on Sunday.
