hiddenjem is truly a hidden gem. I went to celebrate 2 birthdays on September 6th. It's a cozy location in Yk Museum, looking over Yk Bay, beside the boat club. The food was seasoned well and tasty 🤤. Both birthday ladies had a beautiful time. The spot is kid-friendly as well

Amazing spot, have searched most of Saskatchewan, Calgary and Edmonton to find a spot that made my wife's face light up like the Boerewors from here. Amazing service and truly a great event after a stress full day.

Very friendly and tasty family-owned hot pot restaurant. At first I was suspicious because the review was not as good (for some reason only three stars), but I was glad that I gave it a try! I would recommend to order the spicy soup base with spice aside so you can choose how spicy you would like it to go. The fried white fish is a must try! Some people complaint that they cannot speak English, but their menu is in English and it’s very clear how to order! Their iPad menu is very user-friendly. As long as you have experience making online order, it’s the same - click the item you want and it goes to the shopping cart and show you the total of money you order. Most importantly, I lost my phone there with all of my cards and driver license inside, the owners helped me find it and were very understanding how panicky I was. Sincerely recommended!

Service was unbelievably horrible!!!! They spoke only Chinese!!! because we had one Chinese speaker in our group. Even though i talked to English to server and the owner they responded in Chinese and they don’t even see me!! I felt so much ignored by them! Am I customer here? At first we thought they just not familiar with English but we saw the server was talking to another customers in English!! I can’t believe it. And there was machine for the menu, we should choose the ingredient for hotpot. But they didn’t explain anything and just go somewhere!! And the server didn’t come back so we WALKED to them to ask about it!!!! And they made a mistake and they asked us to choose the menu that we ordered in the machine again. After all they overcharged us and we paid it!! One of our friends knew that something is wrong so we came back to restaurant and asked for the refund of extra charging. Yes they did for us but there was NOT any apology for the mistake!!!!! Any sorry!!! And me and my friend didn’t paid tips because of lots of reasons in services. While they were making a refund, they asked us to pay tips!! How can they ask for the tips? And it was my first time to not paying tips in my life. They even tried to teach us. Seriously unbelievable service!!And the more important thing is the taste was also sucks. I’ve never tasted such a bad soup. It was tasteless hahahahJust please don’t goI don’t understand why they are so confidence and NEVER SAY SORRYWe hope this restaurant is closed forever???
