Still my go-to place in Yellowknife after 6 years! The owners are nice and food is tasty. Cute decors in the restaurant. Convenient location.

This was the first time I tried Ethiopian cuisine, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. Since it was my first time eating and my friends who were traveling with us do not eat beef or sheep, the waiter carefully recommended which dish we should try.We ordered the meat combo and curry chicken, and I highly recommend Ethiopia Coffee?

Authentic family-run restaurant serving delicious Ethiopian food in Yellowknife. There's usually a decent amount of seating available for dining-in and all foods are prepared fresh. The "yetsom beyayantu" is a tasty vegetarian dish consisting of cabbage, carrots, potato, green beans, lentils, misir, shiro, spinach cooked with spices and served with injera - the classic Ethiopian flatbread. Note this spot is cash-only and no reservations are required. Definitely worth visiting!Vegetarian options: VegetarianDietary restrictions: Vegetarian options availableParking: Paid parkingKid-friendliness: Kid-friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Accessible

It was a little quiet, but the food was amazing! Did not expect to find Ethiopian food in Yellowknife but glad we did ?
We were there when the place is mostly empty, however we waited for more than 30 mins, there is not even food ordering yet till the two large table comes! Only one lady speaks to us. The rest of the staff treat us like we are not existing.

Worst service in the town. Waited for more than 30 minutes without service. The washroom is absolutely disgusting! No customer service at all. Definitely not recommended.
