Stopped in at Kuugaq Café in Cambridge Bay and had an awesome meal. The caribou burger was super tasty, and the Arctic char soup was warm, fresh, and hit the spot. The staff were amazing too! really friendly. Definitely recommend checking out Kuugaq Café if you’re in town!

Very good food and even better hospitality. The staff even drove us to the airport because the bus/cab was down. Visit this gem whenever you can. Highly recommend the Arctic Char Chowder and Muskox burger 🍔

The arctic char chowder was excellent, worth traveling to Cambridge Bay for that reason alone! Lovely atmosphere with the most delightful, welcoming g staff. They went above and beyond when we were stranded in -44 temperatures, allowing us to linger longer even though they were technically closed between lunch and supper service. Will most certainly be back next time I travel!
Grandfather told me that he thinks he was at this diner last year, completely in passing. He thought home cooking was bad, but considered the waitress to be a solid professional.

The Kuug's amazing Muskox Burgers are worth the trip up to Cambridge Bay, Nunavut!! I like them slighty more than the Caribou Burger but both meals are delicious, and their fries are hot and crispy! ? ?
