“I come from Ottawa where there are more shawarma huts than Tim Hortons. I didn’t know I had to travel to Iqaluit to try the best chicken shawarma platter iver had in my life. The salad is my favourite, the little crunchy chips with fresh vegetables. Another reason to be grateful I travelled and got to see this beautiful land that is Iqaluit ❤️🙏🏾”

“Tundra Takeout is the only option at Iqaluit Airport and it's pretty decent for simple pub style food. The service was excellent and the price was fair given that it's located inside an airport in Nunavut. $33 got me a club sandwich, fries and a Pepsi. If you're hungry and don't feel like a 20 minute walk (or a $10 cab fare) each way - it will do.”

“Helped many people when our charter flight got stuck in Iqaluit. They were willing, and very helpful. The food was amazing. Thank you for helping 150+ of us when we were stuck and in need of hospitality. god bless.All of this with little to no notice at 11 PM. Each pie was warm, and delicious.”

“One of the most affordable food choices in town. Good local beer selection (Nubrew) and they have discounted nights (Wings, Tacos, Burgers). Ideal if staying at the Frobe. Upstairs is more bar / pool, and downstairs is more restaurant / cabin lounge.”

“The food at KFC was delicious and satisfying, but unfortunately, I wasn't impressed with the service and atmosphere. The staff seemed overwhelmed and understaffed, leading to longer wait times and less attentive service. Additionally, the restaurant itself felt cramped and lacked a welcoming ambiance, which detracted from the overall dining experience. Perhaps they were experiencing a busy period or staffing shortage, but it left much to be desired in terms of customer satisfaction. Furthermore, the cleanliness of the dining area left something to be desired, as tables were not promptly cleared and the floors appeared dirty. Additionally, the lack of adequate seating made it difficult to find a comfortable spot to enjoy our meal. Overall, while the food quality met expectations, the overall dining experience fell short due to these shortcomings in service and atmosphere.”
