If you are in Vieux Québec you need to stop & try a beaver tail. Yum!! The base (donut like) is freshly made (served warm). There are many flavors. I loved my Skor flavor one. Try one!

Definitely our favorite dessert of the whole trip. We had to go back for a second time. We can attest that the bananarama, strawberry cheesecake, and brownie are all amazing. They come out hot and delicious, definitely a must-try!

Never thought I’d have to explain the menu to an employee. Asked for a Beaverdog, as it was shown on the tv with the menu and was met with a blank stare as to say she never heard of something like that, she asked a colleague and voila, beaverdog ordered. Then I wanted regular fries, and again; same stare .. she then asked: “poutine?”, and I then had to explain that I wanted french fries and not poutine, just for her to ask a colleague again if that was something they had... yikes. When the food came it was ok, the food (and service) we received in a different establishment from the franchise was a lot better.

Eating Beaver Tails is a part of any Quebecker's childhood memories. This is a really small place but the employees are very friendly. Gotta love Beaver Tails!

Cool place for authentic grab and go food! We enjoyed some poutine smothered in gravy and cheese churds. What a treat! Would love to come again if we ever return to Quebec City.

Alex was a great sever. He deserves a promotion. Even in the late hours, he was so happy and eager to explain the menu items. My experience was made because Alex was so nice.

Our recent cruise to New England and Canada had a port call in Quebec City, the first place we tried Beaver Tails. (This was at the location being reviewed here.) We could not believe how delicious they were!! They were so good we sought them out in our other Canadian ports, and were happy to find them on the dock in Sydney and along the waterfront in Halifax. Yum!! Especially the chocolate/hazelnut. The staff at the reviewed location were fine (the place was not busy), and we were able to eat at the outdoor tables.

Seem to end up here everytime I am in Quebec but never tried Poutine, ever, anywhere. It was good! Also had a Beaver Tail and great cup of coffee. Nice table right at the window. Take the time to experience this part of Quebec and some local (and tourist) favorites. Free WiFi also a plus!

Beaver tails! So decadent in so many ways. They taste so good you don't even feel guilty. DELICIOUS! If you've never had one, do yourself a favour! Reasonably priced too, and they are big enough to share, but you won't want to!

our family shared 3 beaver tails which were warm and tasty as good as the ones in Ottawa. Service was quick and friendly.

We were a group of 6 each couple ordered separately the staff made a mistake on all three orders and a person behind counter swore at my friend he should have been terminated on the spot

The fellow behind the counter appeared to have the funnest job in Quebec. He was so joyful it made us enjoy just being there. There were a ton of scrumptious looking choices, and we should have actually gotten a beavertail, but instead we split a sundae. (Like hot donughnut holes with ice cream and syrup.) It was fabulous. If we run across one at our next stop, we will certainly try a beavertail!

Stopped in here a couple of times during our 3 days in Quebec City. Loved the beavertails and poutine. Not the place to go if you're on a diet, but great for a snack when you're wandering around. Staff was friendly, and most of them spoke English. My teens would gladly visit here everyday!
