I wouldn’t know anything about their food, service, or atmosphere because I never got to sit down.
According to both Google maps and their website the restaurant is open 11am-2pm on Sundays.
Walked through town to the restaurant to find it closed. The gentleman at the restaurant said that they were cleaning between seatings and that they would reopen at 12:45pm (they were late).
After waiting for over 30mins they opened their doors. I walk in ask for a table for 1, to only be told that they are full and are only accepting reservations.
A fact that he failed to mention the first time I spoke to him. A fact that was also not stated on Google or their website.
Considering that not much is open on Sunday, they might want to disclose that information for people visiting Iqaluit. Especially since the restaurant is part of the Discovery hotel.

An excellent place to get a delicious meal at a reasonable price. The staff are great. The attentive and friendly service, especially by Lee, had me coming back, even after I had checked out. Highly recommended.

Great place for dinner. Food is tasty and fresh. We ordered Greek salad and calamari, both were in big portions. For main, we had chicken and lamb, both were cooked perfectly. Highly recommended.

The Granite Room is a great example of fine dining in Iqaluit. If you are looking for a glamorous night in this small northern town look no further. I had the locally sourced Arctic char and it was amazing.
