Good takeout with a nice change of ‘regular’ options in Iqaluit. Friendly and accommodating. I love Shawarma’s and eat them regularly. The ‘large’ was nicely done, good amount of meat but overall it was a bit dry. I ordered “spicy and good amount of sauce”. At home you could add sauces but as a takeout/visitor I didn’t have that option. I’d order again with more emphases on add-ins.
Very good Lebanese shawarma, equivalent in quality to the best in a major city like Toronto. We had the large chicken shawarma which was quite filling. Like often occurs in smaller communities, this restaurant's owners have seen opportunities and have branched out to other fast food cuisines like pizza and burgers. Casual dining with a fast food restaurant ambience. Highly recommended.
I come from Ottawa where there are more shawarma huts than Tim Hortons. I didn’t know I had to travel to Iqaluit to try the best chicken shawarma platter iver had in my life. The salad is my favourite, the little crunchy chips with fresh vegetables. Another reason to be grateful I travelled and got to see this beautiful land that is Iqaluit ❤️🙏🏾
