This place isn't just good for being in a desert. It would be good against most places in Denver. Staff is genuine and very helpful. The burger was perfect and the price was reasonable. Also has a reasonable convenience store for our day in death valley with a good selection. It will always be a stop traveling to or from Vegas.

This is a great place within the Casino. Old school theme but suits the place perfectly. The staff were friendly, there was live music and the food was pretty good. Prices are very reasonable.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Breakfast menu is wonderful. Ask the server. They are super honest and kind. Price is cheap and food is tasty. After dining you can enjoy the walking around the small lake.

As part of our stay at Longstreet Inn Casino Amargosa Valley (ideal starting point for visiting the Death Valley), we had breakfast and dinner at Jack's Cafe and were never disappointed - good quality, good portions, fast and friendly service and fair prices! Great menu, free re-fills with soft drinks and coffee.
Great little pit stop en route from Furnace Creek to Vegas. The breakfast skillet was generous. Service was quick and hospitable.
Really because the hotel is lost in the middle of nowhere that we fall back on this restaurant in the hotel The food is not bad but it is really basic American Too salty Too sweet Too saucey In short to help out but no more

We had dinner in this place during our stay at the Amargosa Opera House, being the only place in the area. Good food (we had steak with mashed potatoes) and generous portions. Quick and fast service. The experience was made memorable by two local patrons who enlivened our evening with live country music and who complied with our requests by playing songs by Johnny Cash: to them, here in the photo, if they had the opportunity to read , an infinite thank you. The feeling was that of finding oneself, for one evening, immersed and projected into the true American Wild West.
Hello! I found the food extremely pleasing we tipped like 40 bucks for two burgers i couldnt believe how big the chili size was. good on ya
We had dinner and breakfast when we stayed at the hotel. The girls work hard, evenings and next morning again. Dinner was okay, not sure if they made the waffles fresh next morning. But for the time being it was good enough.
An old timey cafe with a nice variety on the menu from soup and salad to main course entrees for lunch and dinner and what looks like a great breakfast menu. My meatloaf was acceptable but not the greatest. The salad my wife had was large and delicious.
We were a bit concerned about where we might find a place for dinner after arriving after 6pm at the Opera House and Hotel in Death Valley Junction, but we were pleased to find out that dinner was available - about 7 miles north - until at least 9pm (it seems that they close when the business is slowing down, so don't wait too long before showing up - it seems that their primary customers are people staying at the Longstreet Inn.) We had a classic burger and a BBQ bacon burger - quite large, with more fries than you could possibly eat. If you want anything alcoholic with your meal, you just walk over to the bar, pay/pick them up there and bring them back to your table. Another major plus about stopping at Jack's - if you are heading into Death Valley, is the price of gasoline - $2 less per gallon than what you would find in Furnace Creek!
