I stopped in for dinner they have a pizza oven and make personal sized pizza. I had a New York steak cause cheese and I don't get along. The steak came with garlic mashed potatoes and a great salad. Where they get the fresh greens I'll never know.
There was a guy playing guitar and singing in a side room. Oldies from the 60's and 70's the waitress/ owner would sing with him now and then. All in all a great night.

Wandered in looking for a beer. Wound up sitting in with the guitar player and singer/waitress all night. Great time! Annie is cool. Her dog is cool. Everything about the place is cool.

A true jewel of a place!! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming and a wonderful find at the end of a long day. We got the meat lovers pizza which was piled high with meat and the thin crust was perfect. Topped it with fresh oregano and enjoyed it with a delicious margarita. Others at our table had the pork chops which looked tender and juicy and the rib eye, both served with mashed new potatoes and a good looking mixed greens salad. Both people said their meal was amazing! We had so much fun meeting new friends and our only regret is that we probably will never pass that way again and won’t get the chance to try everything on the menu. Don’t miss this gem of a place!

Without a doubt the best restaurant in Austin, but Grandma’s is more than that. The delicious gourmet meals and friendly service would excel anywhere. Plus the prices can’t be beat! So glad we found this place for our family reunion.

Sarah, the owner is absolutely lovely. The food is fantastic and everyone there went way above and beyond expectations. We had a family gathering and Sarah helped us with lots of the details and really made sure everything went great. Really warm, friendly and welcoming people.
She helped organize carry out meals for breakfast and introduced us to people who could give us tours of this fascinating small town.
One evening after dinner Sarah gave us a ride to where we were staying. Who does that? ?
I can’t speak highly enough about Sarah, her staff, and the quality of the establishment they built.

$15.00 for a dinner portion Caesar salad as an entree is fine. The size should be larger than a side salad, though.

One of the owners had been renovating the next door space all day, making a stage for musicians and tearing down a wall. I arrived famished after a long ride and without any staff, Brandon opened up to make pizzas for an increasing number of hungry people. What comes across is a sense of wholesome warmheartedness and hospitality that is tough to come by. That and dedication to hard work and making things happen. My pizza and beer were delicious and I recommend any passersby to stop here for a meal and a rest.

This is a lovely spot on Highway 50! I wanted to write a review before I even ate because it’s so charming! Worth the stop. I’d love to stay sometime and experience the local nightlife! As a pretty picky eater/shopper, I’ll add a more critical review. The prices are great, and the food is delicious. The food seems to be above average quality, coming from someone who prefers organic ingredients, pasture raised meat and simple recipes. They did serve a cloth napkin, so points for sustainability!Overall, it’s a wonderful spot to stop by on the roadtrip!
