I found this visit to be one of charm more than pleasure. I visited in January, which is a very low season for them. They only serve burgers and wings and any drink you want with a full bar. They only take cash. The owner is 90 and quite delightful.

This place has the worst food! Menu was burger and fries or wings and fries. $15 per meal and if you wanted soda, a 12 Oz can was $3. It took a long time for the food to be cooked by a guy that looked to be in his 70s or 80s. It came out burnt and WAY over seasoned. More salt than I eat in a day on one hamburger. Fries were cold and looked like they were cooked in very old grease.

Either you like dive bars or you think you like dive bars. We were drawn in by the historic charm and the Serbian folk music reminiscent of my partner’s home region and the two enjoyed speaking their native languages together. The owner was very kind to us. He seemed like he already had a full day at the bar, so the conversation was…interesting. When we left, we were charged for shots we didn’t order and the prices of the beer didn’t match the menu. I wouldn’t miss this place if you are on the road searching for unique experiences, but if you are easily put-off, I would admire it from the outside.

The coolest old time, historic, pet friendly bar ever. You can get a room, a burger and a beer all within a 50 ft. radius. Awesome owner, great food, clean rooms, and good conversation with drinks. The perfect setting an old school saloon scene in any western or wild west movie.

Careful with the new mgmt. They're tricky fish. I've known Vic for 20+ years. His daughter, the bartender, was playing pool with my husband. Vic told me to get behind the bar and play bartender. Weird but ok, majority of patrons were my friends so just like serving at home. We go to leave and the daughter rings us up...I had to pay full price for all our drinks including hers and Vic's that I was asked to serve and she kept my tips. So much for a fun laid back drink at the end of a long day. Fun place but DON'T leave your barstool!

The place smells so bad we couldn't get past the door. There was stuff everywhere and the people looked an smelled like they had not showered in day. From the other reviews I have read it was really sad.

OMG! This is seriously the worst place we’ve ever been…and we’ve been around the block a few times. 3 options for food. Burger (no cheese), wings and very thin limp fries that tasted like that had been fried in oil used for fish. Meat and lettuce on burger, nothing else. I would have put ketchup on the burger but the bottle was so disgusting I was afraid I’d get MRSA! When we asked for water we were brought two very cheap bottles and then were charged for them. I guess I should have asked, but if they were going to charge for something as basic as water THEY should have said something. Oh, by the way, when we first saw the limited menu I asked if there was any other place to eat in town and told “no”. Once back on the road a saw that there were at least a couple of other options. Also very dirty and cluttered. How the heck did they get so many good ratings?

Found a rat in my Cobb salad, made me vomit all over my trousers. Still ate it though.

We walked in at 7pm on the coldest evening and were greeted by two pups and one of the best cats I ever met. This place is warm in all senses of the word. The food was delicious and satisfying, and the bar is fully stocked. This is also a hotel (call them for a reservation, I believe). Also, the kitty seems to love it when people play the bar piano 🥰.

My sons took me for my birthday , I enjoyed the great atmosphere. The food was great and the people in the bar and pool room were awesome. Everyone sang happy birthday to me. Love the people there and the wonderful twin sisters with their dad.
