Bummer.. its Closed ! Just the Post office is open for the locals. Rest Rooms are still open though !
Place is closed and hasn’t been open for a while from the way it looks by looking in the widow, not sure why the owners have it open 24hours when it’s forsure closed 24hours a day 7 days a week. Really stinks traveling and a place saying it’s open 24hours then it’s closed, has been closed for months when I stopped at like 7:45pm a few weeks ago it was closed and dusty and then today it was closed at 3:45pm! How is this place listed as open 24hrs, just stop by and you’ll see for yourself there closed either for renovations or closed for good, forsure not open tho
I've been there before over a year ago when I stayed at the Blue Sky Motel. It's was really cool inside. This time, this year of 2022,, it under new ownership, and it's currently closed to remodeling. Looking forward to it once it opens back up :)
I live in the RV park. This town is full of nice people who would help anyone who needed it. Take a min. To read the towns history... it is not only interesting, it is being created right now!
Clean restroom small n quaint...
Very quiet and peaceful. Rooms in motel are spacious. My only suggestion would be mini fridges and microwaves for rooms
Love this place and the people
Awesome atmosphere. Great people
When the car broke down it was a saving oasis. Great, ample portioned food for the whole family. Custom taylored service even to the fussy kids. Will stop in the future even when the car doesn't break down.
I have been there to eat a couple of times since they have opened. There food is ok and portion sizes are good I am a big eater. The casino is working on getting there slots back up after covid shut down. Mostly locals in the casino. Note restaurant is breakfast lunch only.

We only parked in their lot for the night. Bartender refused my adult daughter the use of the restroom because she wasn't buying a drink.
Alhough we had planned to stay in Henderson or Las Vegas for the night, being a Saturday night and coming out of the pandemic - nearly everything was booked solid all the way through Searchlight. A bartender in Searchlight gave the recommendation to stay at the Blue Sky for the night across from this casino/diner, where you have to check in for your room. What a godsend, all for $55, with a large, clean, no frills room. Even better was the breakfast at that same diner the next morning. It was to DIE for - Chef Bob Shawn is an amazing line cook, and was a pleasure to chat with (Stephen King and wife Tabitha from our home state of Maine had breakfast here a few years ago!) as well as our waitress Jennie - learning all about the history of the town. A town pioneered around an old Army airfield, still an active field (Kidwell Field) and its original owner Nancy is still running the show! As an airline pilot, this was a dream come true for me! The Blue Angels, Thunderbirds, Snowbirds, they’ve all flown in here to stay or grab a bite. Diners, Dives, and Drive-Ins should venture out to Cal-Nev-Ari and meet Chef Bob Shawn and owner Nancy. An awesome place with nostalgia you simply can’t create these days. We’ll be back. I can’t wait!!! Keep up the great work guys!!!
It's closed due to Covid!
Cal-Nev-Ari is the city in Nevada that went viral a few years ago because you the entire town was for sale. Yes, you read that right. You could purchase this entire town. This purchase included the Cal-Nev-Ari Casino & Bar, the airport and landing strip, and much more. As of today, the town is still for sale. Nancy, the owner, is looking for someone who values the town's history. If I had the money, I'd purchase this city.
Top notch spot to stop! Very friendly folks and lots to do if you like the outdoor beauty and serenity that is the Southwest!
