Apparently everyone quit so they're trying out some new staff. Closed tonight between 6 -6:30pm. I arrived in town at 6:30pm, already locked up and dark.

Slow, slow, slow. Ordered food to go with a shake and a drink. Waited over 10 minutes for food, then almost 30 more minutes for the shake. Also, no lids for the medium cups (but wasn’t told until after I had already paid and also had to wait to get the cup). Sorry, but a lidless cup in the car doesn’t work. Next time I’ll go to the Knotty Pine.

GREAT GAS PRICES compared to $6+ gas 30+miles away in DVNP.
We camp outside Pioche 3-4 times per year, and always eat at J&J's on our way. We recently learned the owner passed and left the business to his granddaughter - and yes the food still slaps. We will continue to visit as long as J&J's still operates.

I ordered onion ? rings, which were good but it seemed like a very small portion. I believe the price was $3.95 and i only received like 5 smaller rings. all in all J & J's in Caliente, NV is an excellent choice for family dining w its relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Wheelchair accessibility: if ur in a wheelchair or on a scooter, the access doors ? to enter r a bit awkward and i needed assistance to enter.
