Lovely little place. We were just two girls from the UK passing through on a road trip but were welcomed by other guests upon arrival and looked after by the bartender Jessica, her husband and a regular, who gave us lots of recommendations. When I return to cathedral gorge, I will be back here too!
This is a good local bar. But it's the cleanest nicest one I've seen in a long time. If you go there on an afternoon you will probably run into some interesting local characters. That's part of the vibe. The service is stellar. I wandered in for the first time and was treated with respect. That can be rare in some small towns and is a reflection of ownership. The owner keeps the place in excellent condition.
There is a deli attached that serves amazing sandwiches! It’s a little hole in the wall but the saying “good things come in small packages” holds true here. If you want authentic ingredients and big sandwiches, definitely give this place a try!
