WOW..is all I can say..New Owners.Picon drinks went from $7. to $12 each...that's just crazy....My husband and I had dinner Sat. night at Compadres in Dayton and ouf bill was $39 with Margaritas... Odeon 2 Picons each $48. Never again.. I say LOUIE's Basque in Reno. $7.00 is the place as well as Gardnerville TheJT $ 8 each...New owners must be from CA
It was quiet, and midday the last couple times I went, but we had live music once while there, the Cornish pasties, though simple, and a bit pricey( what isn't?), we're delicious. Both bartenders Ive seen recently, were very pleasant.
I love the classic vibe this place presents. Wonderful atmosphere and the prices are fair to what is offered. The pasties are deliscious. Most of all, the people that run the place are top notch and very personable! Truly a wonderful environment! Upstairs has a stage for bigger events they are able to host. Always something to do there every night. From cornhole to pool, this place is a different escape when you want to get out of the house, enjoy some cocktails, and the history...
