First time in a long time since we visited the Roadrunner. This used to be the place to go for the best breakfast. Unfortunately over the years I think it's kind of gone downhill. Our food was mediocre. Services okay. Cleanliness of the restaurant was not the best. It's in desperate need of a thorough cleaning.

I very seldom write reviews on a first time visit but, I have also never been treated so poorly at a restaurant. Today was the very first day that I tried to go to this restaurant, I got denied service for a to go order because they were too busy, absolutely ridiculous how rude the guy was couldn't even smile when I walked in the very first time. I walked in to pick up a menu he sayswe're busy there's a wait, didn't smile at anybody and say hey folks how you doing, nothing, nice. Then when I come back he says are you gonna make a to go order, and I said yes I am he said I can't do it we just got to busy. Sorry bout that. Again no greeting or smile. When I walked into that building it was busy, but that's the first time and last time I will ever try this restaurant I can't believe they can't hire enough people or stay open long enough to serve people, in this small town. 1st time going got bad service and didn't even get to order. Rude and very sad. I was hoping for a better first impression, cause the previous reviews made this out to be a good spot.

Not good. Greasyest french fries I have ever had, along with toasted bread on sandwiches dripping with oil or butter, couldn't tell which. Along with the simple order taking over 30 min. I won't be back.

This place is dang good! In town for a football game, stopped in for breakfast and got the meat lovers country gravy omelette and it was beyond amazing!!! I’m usually a veggie girl but this sounded too good to not try and I could’ve licked the darn plate by the end of it. Our daughter also demolished her biscuits and gravy. 10/10 recommend!

Nice local cafe in historic Dayton - have visited two years while on a bike tour in the Carson City area. Friendly staff and good service. Have had very nice sandwiches for my lunches, which I enjoyed a lot.
