Food was excellent! The service was OK. The building is old and could probably use some improvements but for the prices and quality I'm not complaining. I had the Szechuan Seafood plate and it was very good. There is not much parking but I think you can use the hotel parking around back.

I was visiting Elko with a group of friends from California and Denver and WOW we were impressed. I'm a snob about Chinese food and didn't expect much for Asian food in elko but I was so wrong. We liked Chef Chengs so much we actually went two nights in a row! The first night we ordered different dinner combos, egg flower soup, the specialty buns, mushu veggies, and veggie chow mein. It might be the best egg flower soup I've ever had. Night two we ordered another dinner combo, pho, more egg flower (of course) and the bok choy with mushrooms and it was all delicious!! The service was good and the staff were all so kind. It's so great to know Chef Chengs is there for the next time I stop through Elko. Cannot recommend enough!

A great find! Loved the fried rice, bok choy, tempura green beans, egg drop soup, and even the phò! Clean restaurant, very nice staff, good atmosphere. I would definitely go back!

This was my third time going there. The food wasn't as good as the first two times although the crab wontons are really good here each time. I didn't like how it was a couple of hours before closing and they cleaned the back half of the restaurant and insisted that everybody who came in had to sit in the very front of the restaurant. In a not busy restaurant everybody shouldn't be packed next to each other but this is Elko. Not a lot of choices here unfortunately.
