The burgers are massive and the whole thing is a throwback to a local diner where you just feel comfortable and welcome. The burger was juicy and huge, seriously this thing filled me up from 1 PM to 8 PM that night. I was happy and content which makes for a perfect day.

We stopped in at this restaurant, on our way out west to visit family. The establishment, was recommended to us as a great place for a good hearty breakfast. We decided to give the place a try, and we were happy we did so. Both of us had omelets, and the food was delicious. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive, even though the place was packed. Our coffee mugs kept being filled, and we were amazed at our servers proficiency. If we ever travel back to this part of the country, we will be sure to stop in for a meal at the coffee mug cafe! We also heartily recommend this eatery to all y'all too!

Family friendly; kid friendly; flexible size for small or large groups. Depends on the time of day and how slammed they are - service is usually attentive. The adult size burgers are a tad small (about the size of the “kids” burger). Food is tasty though!

Spaghetti and Mac and cheese could use more seasoning, but the French toast, French dip, and omelettes were very good. We also got a big chocolate chip cookie, brownie, red velvet cake slice, and cinnamon roll to share. The cinnamon roll and brownie were good but the red velvet cake and cookie were dry. We would definitely go back.
Great breakfast! Spacious dining area and wonderful service. Hand breaded chicken fried steak. Homemade country gravy. Its hard to find hand breaded chicken friend steak anymore. My husband said his was excellent. I had a ham and cheese omelette. Both of us had hash browns and they were cooked to perfection, browned and crispy without being burnt and not drenched in oil. Coffee was good. Our waitress(didn't catch her name)was attentive and friendly. The food came quickly and was hot. Legit retro diner that we will stop at again if traveling through Elko.
