Atmosphere was awesome! The service was on point! They didn’t have a few items that were on the menu that were our first choices and that’s why I said 4/5. Two of us got the steak sandwich- too much “sauce” on it. But the linguine with clams was excellent! The dirty pasta and lobster pasta was delicious!

Went on a recommendation. But before going, I tried looking them up on the internet, and their web page wouldn't come up. Had it, I would have been able to look at the menu. The wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary dinner Pretty disappointed. To say the least. Limited menu with expensive prices on everything. Order Crab Cakes for appetizers. Overcooked in a fryer that hadn't been cleaned in a couple of weeks. Service, once the meal was served, we didn't see our server until she came by to see if we wanted dessert. Again limited expensive options. So we passed. Giving them a second chance, all depends if they expand the dinner options, and train servers to check back at least one time, before asking if we wanted dessert. Fix their web page so people can look online at the menu. And make it secure

Just had one of the best steaks I have had in a long time. Ordered the Ribeye and the cut was tender and cooked perfect, with flavor. All too often, restaurants thaw and then cook when the cut is still cool from thawing and ends up dry. I always have at least one dinner at Cooks while in Elko and highly recommend. Lunch has been great also and tried the Bison Burger the previous day.

This place is awesome! I arrived to find out my preferred liquor was out of stock. It was a slower day and the bartender actually went out and got me what I wanted (from an outside store) for my next drink. Absolutely best service I have ever received from any place. Impressed beyond belief. Definitely don’t expect that on a regular basis but was so impressed I had to share. Also halibut is pricey but yeah it was good. Good people, good place.
