The 6 oz steak and Alfredo pasta were excellent! And one of the staff put the funniest note in my bag, and it cracked me up!

This place is awesome! I arrived to find out my preferred liquor was out of stock. It was a slower day and the bartender actually went out and got me what I wanted (from an outside store) for my next drink. Absolutely best service I have ever received from any place. Impressed beyond belief. Definitely don’t expect that on a regular basis but was so impressed I had to share. Also halibut is pricey but yeah it was good. Good people, good place.

Great ribs and sides. The gratin potatoes were pretty spot on, that can be tricky to make and theirs tastes pretty darn good.

The food was phenomenal, the service outstanding, and the atmosphere was great too! Couldn’t recommend more. We will definitely be back. Had the calamari, firecracker shrimp, steamed clams and steak!

After an offer service the night before, we were able to go back and get a whole different side to the "cooks steak house and saloon" - what a night and day difference. The staff was friendly and on point. I had the dirty Alfredo and am already craving it again, so good! My partner had the clam and shrimp lagunie and left nothing for leftovers. They are surlly going to give the surrounding eateries a run for their money on the food alone, but the hospitality is on the top.

We got there on a friday night and it was almost empty which didnt seem like a great sign, the waitress though was quick to serve us and she was great.
The cocktails didnt have much flavor.
The cheese curds were actually pretty good. On the other hand the ribeye steak and lobster ravioli were gross. No flavor at all.
The lobster ravioli itself were okay, but the Alfredo sauce literally taste like the store bought jar of premade sauce that kinda taste like vomit, but they added a little more spices. Not a fan.
The ribeye was okay, not much flavor. Definitely not worth like $40. It was ordered medium rare, came rare, but thats okay we dont mind rare. It was just that it wasnt even hot enough to melt the butter they put ontop, it was still solid. The steak jad a side of scalloped potatoes that tasted like the dried box au gratin potatoes… so also not great.
Honestly the $10 cheesecurds were the best part of the dinner:/ probably wont be going again.

Terrible steak sandwich, I've had fast food that tasted better than this. "Steak" if you can call it that, was super thin and didn't even look like a steak, more like a poor quality pork chop! Wife got the chicken and didn't like it either, best part of the meal was the sidewinders... Definitely not worth the price!

I travel through Elko often, and this is my favorite spot. Good combo of food and atmosphere, well-kept tables, and the live music never disappoints. The owner is just as attentive as the servers. Any food choice is good, and for drinks, I recommend the cherry smoked old fashioned. Small town favorite for sure!

Great service but way too pricey. If you charge $50 for a streak, you should get a linen napkin and a booth instead of high top seating
