Bare bones restaurant with very flimsy plasticware that seemed on the verge of breaking when sawing thru the sope tortilla. The good news is the chipotle sopes with cole slaw and brisket were stellar and only $6 each! They said they were working on getting a license for beer and wine.
The owners Marc & Shasta are two of the best peopleI have ever encountered. Marc has had a vision from day 1 and it has been incredible to see it evolve into what it is now. I first went to the Iron Pig BBQ food truck serving up exceptional BBQ to the Elko community with pulled pork, pork & beef ribs, loaded Mac & cheese & other specialty items. I went for lunch because it is close to where I work and I drive past it almost every day. I ordered the smokehouse burger and got a side of baked beans. The burger was fantastic! The textures and flavors were so perfect. The burger was way bigger than I expected. I was full the rest of the day.
